I have a problem when I minimize Outlook 2003 on Windows 7. When I do this, 
the Outlook 2003 application "disappears". It does not show up in the SysTray 
like other apps. It appears to be closeed (terminated) when I minimize it.

I'm only using the Calendar portion of Outlook 2003. I haven't set up the 
email server connections in it when this happens.

I only want to use the Calendar/ToDo portions of Outlook 2003, not the email 
client application.

Any suggestions?

When Outlook is open you will need to resize the window for it. Open Outlook and 
then Maximize it. Then grab the bottom right hand of the Outlook window and stretch 
it out to it's maximized position. Once done Close Outlook . Next time you open it 
everything will be in place as far as maximizing or minimizing.

If you see the Outlook icon in your notification area, right click on it and 
uncheck "hide when minimized."  You may also have it hidden if you hide your 
notification tray icons.
