I've saved to pieces of artwork but cannot view them as they are GIF format.
How can I view them or change them to JPEG?

What happens when you try to open them? I've honestly never heard of not
being open to open a .gif.

What program are you using that won't view .gif images?
You can download a free third-party viewer, there are many around.
www.irfanview.com with the free plug-ins is one. www.xnview.com is good too.
