File associations 2007 Office component

I have office 2007 enterprise and I cannot open an .accdb (access) file from 
the location of the file by double clicking.  If I try, I get a message 
"...not a valid win32 application." I can open the file with access menu.  
When I try to reassociate the file, I cannot select msaccess.exe! it only 
shows "2007 microsoft office component.  Any suggestions?
