Office for Mac 2008 License key transfer?
Hello,
I have a Microsoft Office for Mac 2008 Home and Student edition. It is to my
understanding that I have 3 license keys. I've already used up all 3 license
keys on 3 different computers.
However, this is my situation. I bought a new Mac and want to install Office
on it. Am I able to uninstall Office on my old Mac, then install Office on my
new Mac with the same license key I use on my old Mac? Or what should I do?
Thanks!

"Microsoft Office (mac 2008) did not install properly"
PROBLEM:
I jsut bought the disc of Office Mac 2008 Home and Student Edition and it
purports to install properly however when I attempt to open a program (eg

WHAT I HAVE TRIED
I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I have rebooted machine.
OBSERVATION:
During the installation at the "Product Key" stage the program does not ask
me for one of the three 20 digit alpha numeric keys provided. Instead it
advises - "Your Office 2008 Product ID is ......(a 20 digit NUMBER

Update - Microsoft Responds to the Evolution of Community
What is Happening?
This message is to inform you that Microsoft will soon begin discontinuing

Why?
As you may know, newsgroups have existed for many years now; however, the
traffic in the Microsoft newsgroups has been steadily decreasing for the
past several years while customers and participants are increasingly finding
solutions in the forums on Microsoft properties and third party sites. This
move will unify the customer experience, centralize content, make it easier

Can't install after using Trial Version
Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel
I previously used a Trial Version of Mac Office. Before installing the new version, dragged Trial Version folder to Trash. Installed no problem, and even could not find prior versions of Office. However, when I go to open Word it says "Microsoft Office did not install properly". Tells me I need to uninstall the just installed version and re-install. However, when I try to use the built-in uninstaller it says it cannot do that. Suggests maybe it is because I am not logged in as administator. Othe

reformatting outline view
I've read a number of the bits of advice about reformatting the
outliner, and I can't make it work to my satisfaction.
The stock outliner produces fonts that are way too big (for me), and
it fills up pages quickly and becomes ungainly. Yet my efforts to
adjust it never work. I either end up back at the beginning or with
some weird mix of numbers and fonts.
Two questions: Now that I've messed up the outliner (each level begins
with a number: I, II, III, instead of I, A, i) how can I restore it to
the default?
Once I stop digging, where can I turn for advice about matching styles

Can you apply the built-in slide themes to individual slides?
Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
I've just switched over from a PC. I used to be able to apply different built-in slide themes to INDIVIDUAL slides within the same presentation. On my Mac, it will only apply them to the entire presentation. I can't find any way of only applying them to individual slides. Surely there must be a way to do it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

FZ

Version: 2004

Previous versions of this worked fine. This version comes up with comment "not enough memory". As I have 2mg Ram this seems strange. Any help appreciated.

Adjusting the toolbar
Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
When I am doing a Word document, I like to have an extensive toolbar up so that I can easily make changes as I go along. But I can't get my customized toolbar to stay up after I've finished working on the doc. The next time I open the doc or when I start a new doc, the toolbar is empty. The only way I can get it back up again is to go into View and remove the options I've set (which actually aren't on the screen) and re-install them. How can I get the full toolbar to stay up permanently?
