This depends on what you mean by multicolor text...
If you mean multiple colors within the same control, like the color coding

I previously had calendars setup under Public Folders to reserve conference
rooms, but was told it was more efficient to use resource mailboxes for
things like that. I have created the mailboxes and it is working well but is
there a way to make the calendars viewable to the entire office the way it
was under Public Folders? People would still like to be able to see whats
available before making the meeting request. Thank you.

i have used excel for years, then 3 days ago, all of my excel file
have changed from decimals to commas (ie: 2.33 is now 2,33). formula
do not work using decimals (but commas work). how do i change th

Not running a Mac, but in Windows OS the comma or dot is set in Regional
Settings in the Control Panel.

If it's 2007, the ribbon (technically not toolbars) is probably just
minimized. Press Ctrl+F1 to toggle it on and off.

I got a Word document back from a reviewer with tracked insertions,
deletions, and comments. These exist in the main text and the
footnotes. However, I also get slew of changes to variables in the
header and footer, which are all time-stamped exactly the same time.
In other words, they look like a document-wide variable update. I see
these in my own documents, too.
I want to merge the reviewer's tracked changes into my baseline
document, but I don't want to bring in all the klag in the header and
footer. Any way to do this? If I open the Reviewing Pane in the

In order to multiply 'Time' by 'Currency' - you should ad a multiplication by
24 as well in the formula and format that(!) cell as 'Currency'.

You mixed up presentation and storing of information. The main point of

I recently imported my checking account data, over 2000 transactions, from
an Excel worksheet. The data was accurately imported, but it didn't import
the expense category associated with each transaction. Is there a way to

In outlook, I've seen (under my normal contact list) CRM Business Contacts.
I've seen this before (as it shows up with the Business Contact Manager). It
doesn't seem to show up anyomore. And, I had a friend on the network install
it and it does the same thing....only 'contacts' show up. How do you get
that to show up on the outlook bar on the left like I've seen before?
Also, I have synchronization errors. How do you fix them? There are no
logs, no errors, no messages, and no place to look!!!

occasionally started to change the value in the control, but then exit the
form with a Null value. This affects various reports that include this data.
I'd like to have the value return to 0 either in the event they exit the

I am using excel 2003 and did something to change a default and I don't know
how to set it back. Whenever I create a pivot table and drag a field into
the data area the default behavior is to count the items. I thought it used
to sum them by default. Does anyone know how I can change the default back
to summing the data?
If all the data in the field is numeric, then you'll see Sum.
If any of the data in the field is text (or empty!), then you'll see Count.
I don't think you can change this behavior.

I'm on a network with others. I've created a timesheet in Excel for others
to fill out. They password protect it so third parties can't see it but I
have the password, too. I need a method of preventing people from going back

of newsgroups and have a number of watched messages and read messages,
marked as such.
If I were to change my news server, how do I do this without losing all the
pre-watched and pre-read messages?

I copy a list of names from one page and put them in a excel spreadsheet.
What happens is just the name show like DUSTIN MCALISTER but when you hold
the mouse over the name the email address shows up in a little yellow box
showing what the hyperlink is. Is there a way to make it show the email
address instead of the hyperlink?? That way I can click on a row of names and
