making a document print in black & white

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Hi, <br> I am printing to a Canon MP190 printer which has the capability of printing in colour and black and white, but sometimes I only want it to print documents in black and white (even if they contain colour). How can I force it to print documents in black &amp; white? Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Power PC This is a new issue beginning yesterday when using Word and I'm creating a NEW document text cannot be seen in the PAGE LAYOUT view. TEXT IS being entered when I type but it is INVISIBLE nor can I see the cursor. (FYI, my text color is black and my background color is white.) When I switch to Outline or Normal views I can then see what text I've typed. Also, if I open documents I created prior to this issue I can see the text just fine in Page Layout view. Painfully slow lag times in Newsletter Templates

The typing lag time is painfully slow -- such that I can type 3-4 sentences before it shows the first word. <br><br>I've tried to close Toolbox and to work in Print Layout, but no improvement. Bullets while typing gives &#955; symbol.

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Power PC I often use bullets on the fly, typing in the asterisk *, then a space, then the text, then hitting enter to get the automatic bulleted list. For some strange reason, lately, when I do this process, I don't get my usual bullet symbol (solid black dot), I get the lambda &amp;#955; symbol. I've tried many ways to correct this, with no luck. My Word Document is formated wrong on a PC

The spacing between the sentences were ok but the type that should of been on the second was half way down the second page. I took my original PC word doc. and opened it up and the Mac and it's the same way only it backwards most the type that should of been on the second page most of it was on the first page. I even made the PC word doc a .rtf file but it's still wrong and I can't send .rtf file

Capitalisation in Find and Replace operations

Hi, I'm just writing because I have noticed an odd thing that Word does when doing a "find and replace", and was wondering whether anyone know the reason or a fix for it. Basically, I have found that if you ask Word to replace the word "foo" (please excuse the word!) with the word "test", if the original word is uppercase as in "FOO", Word will replace it with "TEST". Similarly, if the original word is capitalised "Foo", Word will replace it with "Test", even if you want it to replace it with "test". Does anyone know why Word applies this capitalisation to words it replaces, and

I have a column with series listing all days in each month inclusive through a period of several years. Another column represents regular payments made on the same date of each month - for the sake of example, let's say 16th. It would be tedious to locate the 16th cell in each month and place the figure manually - plus I'd like to experiment with changing the payment day. Cross-Reference Color

I've created a character style called Xref which just changes the font color. It works perfectly on my PC, and seems to work on the MAC until I save the document - then the cross-references return to black. <br><br>Am I missing something? saving word docs to my mac desktop

Transfer autocorrection list (ACL) from windows Word to Mac

I changed from pc to Mac, and want to transfer this. <br><br>I have found the ACL files on the mac, and pasted the content of the PC ACL file in this file. However, this does not change anything. If I add a autocorrection in Word, the file does not change anything either. <br><br>I do not understand this... <br><br>Anyone knows where Word on Mac saves this? <br><br>Thanks for any help.
