Hello all!

I run a home business and work from home so I use an alias when using working. However, I just noticed that my name is still appearing when I write replies to clients.

When I write an email from my work address of which the name on the account is "Lil' Duck Duck Shipping", it shows up as "Lil' Duck Duck Shipping <shipping@lilduckduck.com>. No problem.

However when the client writes back and I reply, or I simply reply to any email from any client, the quoted text from the original email shows as like this in the header from the original email:

From: "Client John Doe" <jdoe@acme.com>
Date: Tue, 16 Mar 2010 11:57:34 -0400
To: "My Real Name" <shipping@lilduckduck.com>
Subject: Re: Address Test Reply

Why is Entourage using my real name (which is in the address book and associated with this address) instead of the name associated with the account?

I can turn off the quoting of the original email but why should I have to do that? Any thoughts?

Wow, I really messed up the sentence structure on that post. I apologize all.

Also, I know under Reply & Forwarding I can select which options to show, but the formatting under that is horrible as it doesn't show the nice:

From:
Date:
To:
Subject:

formatting in bold text which makes it easy to read. How can I make it so the "To" doesn't show up perhaps as another solution but keep the nice formatting?

See if this blog post of mine addresses what you're seeing:

"This bug is really a new feature in SP1"
<http://blog.entourage.mvps.org/2008/06/new_sp1_feature_could_be_mistaken_for_a_bug.html>
or <http://tinyurl.com/4dcya4>

Hope this helps!
