Hi Folks <br><br>When people send me a pdf atatchment it appears in the preview pane but when I try to open it I get the following error message 'It may be damaged or use a file format that Preview doesn't recognize'. I've installed the latest version of Adobe but this hasn't helped. <br><br>Any suggestions would be much appreciated.. <br><br>Cheers <br><br>Dan

Make sure both Office & OS X are fully updated, repair disk permissions &
see if that makes any difference.

Your installation of Adobe Reader is irrelevant if you have Apple's Preview
app set as your default for opening PDFs. If you want to have them open in
Reader instead, use Get Info on a PDF file icon in Finder, select it as the
Open With app & click the Change All button.
