Internet Explorer [Version 8] Hanging/Not Responding

Hi,

I face the problem with IE 8 most of the times when I do browsing it hangs 
or wont respond.

All I have to do is forcefully, I have to close the IE and re-open it again.

It's really bothering while browing the sites.

Note:- I observed that, when I do switch between the tabs IE is not 
responding, if any one of the tab is processing to get the details from the 
site. 


Today morning, I had faced the same problem when I started browsing, I 
copied the Description of the same, following is the description

1. Does the behavior persist if you start IE in No Add-ons mode?

   => Start | (All) Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet 
Explorer (No add-ons).

2. Does the behavior persist if you Reset IE Advanced settings (RIES)?

3. What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your 
subscription current?  What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? 
What third-party firewall (if any)?

4. Has a(nother) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on this 
machine (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought 
it)?
