I keep getting messages from webpage

I have noticed that lately I have been getting a lot of messsage popups
saying things like "Stack Overflow at line 403" and other things with
something to do with memory.

What causes these and can I fix them?

you will need to post the version of Internet Explorer you are using

your operating system and service pack level

and of course the *exact* error messages

Otherwise any help you get will be based upon guesswork

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; WinXP 64-bit SP2;
Vista SP1; Vista 64-bit SP2; Win7; Win7 64-bit) as well as your IE version
when posting in an IE-specific forum or newsgroup. Please do so in your next
reply.

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Has a(nother) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on this
machine (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought
it)?

Windows XP Pro SP 3
Anti virus- Avira
Firewall - Sunbelt personal firewall
No norton or macafee at all on my system

In my original post I did post the exact error message that I got that time.
It is always a overstack on line ( different each time )

I'm sorry but I do not remember the memory error message, I will keep track
next time it happens.

Unless you post the info asked for
you cannot expect to get any meaningful help

Was Avira AntiVir running in the background and was Sunbelt firewall enabled
when you installed IE8 and/or SP3?

Which was installed first, IE8 or SP3?

Does the behavior persist if you start IE in No Add-ons mode? To start IE
in No Add-ons mode:

=> Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without
Add-ons; or

   => Start | (All) Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet
Explorer (No add-ons).

Does the behavior persist if you Reset IE Advanced settings (RIES)?

I am still getting these overstack error messages, each time it is on a
different line on a different webpage but they are all "overstack" errors..
any idea how I can correct this?

You start by answering the questions. They were not rhetorical.
