superscript spacing issue
When displaying a superscript or subscript on a basic html page, older
versions of IE (basically anything other than Windows 7's version) cause a
spacing issue that makes the lines of sentences conflict and overrun each
other.
This issue does not occur in windows 7, but just in Vista and XP's versions.

IE8 doesn't save my hostory or change color on visited links
Hi all
I'm running IE8 just as I'm used to, but around two weeks ago, it stopped
accepting cookies and the browser history is not kept either. When I visit
some secure sites, they tell me my PC doesn't allow cookies and guide me on
how to correct this, but everything is set normal and I haven't made any
changes (things are as suggested). The browser doesn't keep the history
either, so when I visit a link on i.e. Google or Flickr, the link doesn't
change color to show it is a visited link and I can't see history in the
"Favorites" drop down history list (and I've checked the li

Using check marks (ticks) when browsing a site
I have repeatedly experienced an issue in that when asked to accept terms and

IE8 address box steals focus from search box
Hi
Running latest IE8
I keep finding that when I start IE8, type an expression in the search box in the top right corner, the address box steals focus
So if I type "SQL Server 2008 Client installation", the letters "SQL S" are in the search box and the rest of the letters "erver
2008 Client installation" are now in the address box.
This is deeply annoying.
Anyone seen this and know how it can be fixed?
It only seems to do this at IE8 startup or new tab startup.
After that, all words are in the search box and the address box dioes not steal focus.

IE8 slow on initial load to connect and display home page.
Sometime in the past few weeks/months I've developed this issue. I
don't use IE much so its not hard to understand me not seeing it for a
while, so I can't restore or use a backup, I've done too much.
I'm on Windows XP SP3 latest updates, and I've run my virus,
Malwarebytes, Super Anti-Spyware, all full scans. Chkdsk too.
The system really does seems to work fine. However I ran across a
hint on a forum about issues like this and they supplied a file called
deldomains.inf that you could load. It basically deleted a few
registry entries and restored them as empty folder

IE7 & XP to IE8 & Windows 7
I have finally sucked it up and acquired a new machine with Windows 7 and
IE8. I have years of favorites stored (in folders and subfolders) and want
to import all of them into my new setup. I've burned hours trying to figure
this out with no success. Any help is greatly appreciated.
