We are upgrading from SQL2000 to SQL2008 and moving to a new server. The
problem is, we are going from GP9.0 to GP2010. Does anyone know the path we
need to take to get there? I figure I have two options. One, upgrade from
GP9.0 to GP10.0 on the old server (SQL2000) and then upgrade from GP10.00 to
GP2010 on the new server (SQL2008). My second option would be to upgrade
from SQL2000 to SQL2005 on the old server and then just go from GP9.0 to
GP2010 on the new server.
I am wondering what the path of least resistance would be?
The other little bit of information is, there are other non-GP databases on
the old server that will need to remain available.
Any help would be appreciated.
