Dear All,
I have a situation where we want to increase the Cost of an Asset even after
doing the depreciation of it.
Is it possible, if so then how?
GP 9.0 SP 4, SQL 2005
Thanks,
Amjad Ali

In the Asset Card, click the blue arrow next to the Acquisition Cost
field. You can add a line in the Asset Purchase window to increase or
decrease the cost. You'll also need to change the Cost Basis in the
Asset Book window for the appropriate Book(s). When you change any
depreciation sensitive field, you're prompted to recalculate
depreciation. There are 3 options for this which you can read about
here - http://gp2themax.blogspot.com/2010/01/gptip42day-recalculating-depreciation.html.
