How can I change font on the row and column headers in 2007?

Can't figure out how to change the font on the row numbers and column letters 
in the heading of the sheet. Hope someone can help.

Cannot be done if you just want to change these two items
You can right click your desktop and change setting for ALL windows

Button>Excel Options>When creating new workbooks.

Set the font type and size.  Close and restart Excel.

All NEW workbooks row and column headers will be as you wish.

NOTE:  the default cell font will also be that type and size.

You can get around that by selecting all cells and re-formatting as you
want.

You could also set this up as Book.xltx so's that would be the default New
Workbook when hitting CTRL + n  or New File Icon.
