Exporting to CSV with embedded line breaks

  • Follow

Hi!

I want to save a file as a CSV format with embedded line breaks. When I save
it now I see each row in excel as a separate line in the CSV file. The file
should show the records on one line separated by embedded line breaks.

Can any one out there help me?

Thanks a lot.

It sounds like you're asking for a text editor/viewer that allows you to see
linefeeds as "special" characters--not real line feeds.

I'm not sure that you can do anything in excel that will help you.

And I don't recall seeing any text editors that do what you want--but maybe
google will help you find one.
