How well does MS Office 2003 run on Windows Server 2008, IN PRACTICE ?

Microsoft say it runs fine, but are there any significant problems in
practice?

I would say, very well...

The problem is: What do you exactly mean with 'run'? What is your 
concrete use case?

I used Office 2002 on Vista for about a dozen machines for the past 15
months without too much trouble

A client has been running A2003 runtime on Windows 2005 and 2008 Terminal Server for
at least five yars now without any troubles.   I would guess they have between 2 and
10 users on all day long.
