When an email address is entered into an Excel cell, it automaticlly becomes
a hyperlink. How can this feature be turned off.

Tools > Options > Spelling > Aautocorrect > Autoformat > and clear the
checkbox for automatic hyperlink conversion.

Office Button (top left hand corner)
Excel Options (lower right hand corner)
Proofing
AutoCorrect Options
AutoFormat As You Type tab
Remove tick from the field called:-
Internet and network paths with hyperlinks
OK
