windows journal hangs/ freezes when scrolling down

I am using journal with win vista and 7. Each time when i scroll down a few page in journal, it will hand and not respond. THIS ONLY HAPPEN TO PARTICULAR FILES ESP WHEN THE FILE SIZE IS BIGGER THAN 1mb

deleting e-mail

I cannot delete incoming e-mail, either individually or "en masse" by using the CONT and SHIFT buttons. When I check the e-mails in their little boxes, and hit "Delete", they disappear temporarily from my in-box, and the trash can number goes up, but moments later the process is reversed and they reappear in my inbox and the trash can number goes down. The same thing happens when I try to "move" the e-mails into the junk or trash can folders. The end result is that I cannot permanently delete my incoming emails. What could cause this apparent undelete-ability and what can I do

Hello, I reistalled my system XP PRO as a repair. (I had a virus problem that was sent from my own email address to me) Everything seems to be working, but the internet. When I open IE the home page comes up and I can access the news features. When I try let's say google or any other lookup I get this message. "The requested lookup key was not found". When I get the message install "ActiveX controls" it will try to search but it would not conect to download. I really don't want to format c and reinstall a fresh copy.
