DPM crashes evrytime I try to lower the disk allocation...Just the interface
itself, it claims DPM has encoutered a problem and needs to be closed by
windows... This is also the only time it happens, if I raise a value it works
fine, if I create or delete jobs it works fine, it's just when I try to lower
the disk allocation on any job (either the replica volume or the recovery
point volume), the interface crashes.... I am running Storage Server 2003 x64
SP2 with DPM SP1 and all the hotfixes I could find, including the management
pack, but I really don't know how to view which build I am running....
Does anybody have any ideas about this?
Thanks in advance...

You simply can't reduce disk allocation with DPM 2007, although I believe
they add that functionality in DPM 2010.
The crash is no doubt unplanned, but the function isn't supported at all so
they never bothered to fix it.
