Backup IIS
Can DPM backup IIS information natively? If not this is a serious
limitation!!!!!

Hi TechRaider,
Today IIS is not available is an independent datasource available for
protection in DPM, but you can protect system state of a machine that will
include IIS information as well.

Thank you for the response.
So are you telling me that a system state backs up all of IIS, including
every single website and its content?
These are the things I need to know in order to configure the correct
protection.

Hi,
Only the IIS metadatabase is backed up as part of system state. website and
its content needs to be backed up separately as folders/files.
