Unsupported Security Settings

Installing Outlook online client get this error:

"Unsupported Security Settings
MIcrosoft CRM requires that ActiveXcontrols are enabled. Your current
security settings prevent this. You need to enable ActiveX and try again".

It goes on to explain how and where to enable these. Going there we find
they are in fact already enabled.

Query set-up with two tables
Good Morning Everyone, I’m learning and creating a database at the same time. I first added the table Trans_Mstr_Lbr that is an import from Excel that contains all my data related to labor. I built queries and reports based on this table. But then I wanted to add ODC which is another import from Excel. I can’t really establish a unique relationship between the two tables, though I thought possibly about the date field. They both have the same month/year in common. My goal is to create a query and report that displays the Labor Cost,ODC Cost, and then the sum of the two, ...

Security requirements for GP
My client is in the process of purchasing GP. The seller of the product says that GP requires either the 'sa' account or an account equal to 'sysadmin' so they can perform various functions. Their exact statement is: "Previously Microsoft had always stated in their documentations that the ‘SA’ account was required for many areas, for example backups and restores from within GP, doing upgrades and applying service packs etc. However, I was able to confirm with Microsoft today that using another account other than ‘SA’ will work as long as that account has sysadmin p...

Setting Custom Dictionary Based on Document
Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to set the default custom dictionary based on the current document? I use word on private letters and work-based manuscripts, which each have their own specialist vocabulary. It is easy enough to have two custom dictionaries, but when I right-click to add a word to the dictionary, there is no choice of which dictionary to add to; it always goes in the current default one. If I change from working on a private letter to a manuscript, it is a real pain to have to remember to go into the proofing settings to change the default dictionary. Th...

Security Question 08-26-06
I am looking for a way to resolve this security issue. I have a person that will create contract records (custom entity, not base contract entity)records for two different areas. We want to be able to limit who can see these records based on a field (picklist) on the contract. For example, Jan in the legal department will be creating Legal and Sales contracts. The sales people should only see sales contracts and the legal people only legal contracts. I know I limit the security by access within a BU and assigning roles. But Jan is creating records for her BU (legal) and another BU (sal...

Setting the value held in a combobox
I have a form with two unbound combo boxes, and several fields. The idea of the form is that the user can select either of the two combo's and the rest of the fields on the form will populate. So, for example, if the user selects an entry from cboContractAccount, the table will be searched and the fields populated with the values associated with that ContractAccount. Alternatively, the user can select an entry from cboSerialNum--if they don't know the ContractAccount--and the fields will populate as appropriate. However what I want to do is, if they select a ContractAcco...
