We have purchased 2 licenses for CRM Professional and I have added one of
them fine. The only odd thing is that after adding this license I have lost
the users snap-in in the deployment manager. I have tryed adding the second
license but is coming up with adding license failed - please check event log.
( All attempts have been logged in with administrator which is the same user
that installed CRM!)
I have then checked the event log to find that it is coming up with event ID
: 17160
IsCRMSysAdmin : WhoAmI Failed
Is there anything I can do to add this license as it is rather urgent. I am
assuming that for some reason because it doesn't see the users, it can't see
the adminitrator either. Can I change something in services to see if that
rectifies the problem.
Any help would be great...thanks in advance.

I have recently run into the same error, and it's rather urgent that I get it
resolved, does anyone have any insight or solution to this problem?

Hi Scott,
I had to resolve this one myself as nobody here posted anything!! Basically,
have you disabled the administrator (User that installed CRM) as a license to
add somebody else. One of my colleagues had and we found the best method was
to log in to the server as another user with admin priveliges in CRM and
enable the admin account and this should work.
If this doesn't work post again and give me more information on the error
and i will give you another work around as I know it is a pain!!
Hope this helps
