Are there any good resources for customizing the isv.config file for CRM ? 
The SDK and asscoiated documentation provide the higher level info for 
development, but is there anything more business level for customizing the 
isv.config file in relation to the home page for example ?

I found the book "Using Microsoft CRM" to be beneficial when customizing my 
isv.config file.

You can find it at amazon, though I bought mine used from half.com
