I read from the "Microsoft CRM3 for Dummies" book that we can search a
multiple value by type in ; (i.e. I am looking for accounts in CA, NY, PA,
etc.) but it doesn't work. I believe this is a bug, can you please advise if
this can be fixed? I don't want to keep typing in same thing and creating
multiple lines with each value I am looking for and having to group them in.
I have e-mailed about this to Joel Scott who wrote this book about 5 monthes
ago but didn't get a reply.
Thanks,
Joyce

Hi Joyce,
I think you need to do multiple Condition statements,
Address1: State/Province = IL
Address1: State/Province = CA
....
....
Select the conditions and then Click Group OR in advance find.
Hope this helps.

Hi Darren,
That's what I have been doing but better way to do it is to be able to use ;
sign in one line. I am pretty sure it's a bug and I e-mailed MS CRM about it
today. I hope to hear something form them.
Thanks for your replay and have a wonderful day!

Joyce, what condition are you using? The advanced find worked for me when
trying to find all contacts within a certain group of cities. I used a new
line for each city but, grouped them with And.
Good Luck
