Publisher 2007 Update Download
I have a new computer and thought Microsoft Publisher was a program on the
Student 2007 Office my husband downloaded. I purchased a "2007 Publisher
Upgrade" from the internet. It appears to have downloaded. My question is
will this "Upgrade" work on my computer or should I have purchased the
Publisher program first?

I'm having an issue with my home page and a mscvr80.dll file. Just
recently (it coincided with the August 17 networking issues, so I
thought it had something to do with that, but now I'm not so sure).
When I sign on and go to my MS Money home page, it will crash with a
problem associated with the above file. I report it to Microsoft and
when I close that box, it crashes the program. If I'm fast enough,
after signing on, I go to anywhere else but the home page and the
program will run fine - but if I do select, even then, to go to the
home page, it will crash again. Everything e...exclusive access to the database error. Office 2003 upgrade.

I am cloning a database we use in our business for a sister company. Main
changes are report headers, form header changes and some minor coding changes
due to slight process differences between the two companies. I just
discovered the new company has Access 2007. The original database is Access
2003. Looking at the Microsoft Office website it seems the changes between
the two are mainly in the interface. Is this correct? I need the data tables
to remain unchanged if at all possible as there may be a chance the two
companies will share certain data.

Is there a command or command stream in Access that will allow a database to
be opened only from a specific file location? I would like to prevent people
from opening a database from a network drive and limit opening only from the
hard drive of the PC they are logged on to.
This might be too much of a kludge ...
It seems like it would be possible to add in some startup code in the
back-end (on "a network drive") that looks for an indication that it's being
started from a proper front-end, and shut it down right away if not.
Then you'd add in some code in th...2-Pages per Sheet in Access 2007

This only happens in Publisher 2007. I do merges: in Excel, in Word,

screen is so large, I have to push up as far as I can, and there's
just a sliver of the print button on the bottom - can't even see the
"print" word on the button. However, my cursor does react with it, so
I do print successfully. I just would like to know if there's a way
to make this one screen smaller. There's no arrows at any of the
corners, so I can't squeeze it down.
