get works database into Access

  • Follow

Greetings,
I was provided a works database (.wdb) that I need to get into
Access 2000 so I can use the data. I do NOT have works so
I can export the data in comma delimited format.

anybody have any ideas on how to do this ?

thanks,
Darryl

Try opening the Works database in Excel, and linking or importing from
there.

I think Excel can import that data.

So, just import into Excel, and then from there you can easily import into
access.

I have the same problem - tried to open with Excel then
tried to import external data and "could not open or read
this query file. Either the file has been damaged or the
format is not valid"
