files? It would of course be better if MS allowed users to switch
menu languages within the program just as Mac does with its OS and
associated software. But since that is not the case, I have had to
purchase install the English version of Office 2004 (at great expense
both monetarily and memory wise). When I open files already on my
computer it always opens them with the "default" version of Office

i have written a very simple activex control in vc++6, the project was
created using the standard ActiveXControl MFC wizard, and i added one
automation method using classwizard
i embed this activex control in a web page, which is to be part of a
dialog box of a vc++6 app (i use IWebBrowser2 to do this)
in the web page, but it always fails!

What is the cause of this?
We came across the same message when a user tried to link an email using the
regarding field. I believe that this could have occured because the user does
not have write permissions on the appropriate record.
I am unsure of this though and I am hoping that someone can please confirm
what the problem may be?

...Problem opening files from server
When attempting to open a file from the server by clicking the short cut to
the folder on the server, then the file I get the following message:
Windows cannot find 'L:\name_of-file.xls'. Make sure you typed the name
correctly, and then try again.
If I bring up excel 2007, then click the "folder" to the right of the
'Office Button' (upper left hand corner), it brings up a listing of the
network drives and the files under them. I can click on the *.xls that I
desire to open and it opens it without a problem.

hello..kind of a tough one..
I need to be able to access a new form for each user in a result set.
In order to make it intuitive i am looking to add a button or some hyperlink
in the result table to that it will pop up the form when selected.
So..if results of query from a table looks like:

2. UserName2 Data1 Data 2
UserName 1 or UserName2 should be a hyperlink or a button should be put in

I have a public folder on an Exchange 2003 server. The folder is listed in
the System Manager. My account has full admin rights, directory rights and is
set as an owner in client rights. When I browse to public folders while in
Outlook 2003 it is not listed. I've tried acessing it with Hide from Exchange
Address Lists enabled and disabled with no effect. I've tried acessing it
with other accounts that are configured as Owner in client rights with no

The simplest say is to close Outlook and copy your PST to a CD. To be more
selective, create a new PST and move the folder you wish to preserve to that
PST. Close Outlook and copy that PST to the CD.
