All my emails are gone from Entourage
Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop Hi. I thought the issue I have is pretty simple, but somehow I couldn't find similar ones in the forum, so I'm writing this. <br> My issue is all my hotmail emails are gone from Entourage when I opened the application. Everything. I can view the emails online though. The night before I was using it no problem. Now, every email, folder I made, are all gone. The contact on it is still intact. <br> If someone can help me with this, I'll really appreciate it. Thank you!!

my e-mails also went away. When I opened up Entourage today, it was a new installation. All data was gone--e-mail, calendar, everything.

The same thing happened to me. Everything is gone and it wanted me to start a new account like I had never used it before. <br><br>All my messages and such are still on my hard drive, but Entourage won't let me import them for some reason. <br><br>Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You probably either moved or renamed the identity folder. Make sure you put it back where it belongs (with the proper name). I'm just about positive that it coincided with a security update. I do not allow automatic security updates to any Microsoft or Apple programs. Unfortunately this one popped on screen late at night when I was overtired, and since it said it was a very important security update to Entourage, I clicked OK, allowed a restart of my MAC and went to bed. That is ALL I did that could affect Entourage. The next day when I started Entourage I got the same new instance of the Entourage program, with no files, no identity, no nothing. Since then I have been using my ISP provider's email, but since I did delete many emails from their server after saving them into my Entourage over the past few years, I would like to be able to retrieve what used to be there. <br><br>Is there a simple way to undo this mess? Previously, Hotmail would show up as a web account similar to IMAP showing the folders you created online. POP accounts do not show these folders. If yes, have you tried a custom search to see if you can find one of your Hotmail messages? If you find one of the messages use one of the scripts to show where the message is hiding. It's possible the folders are in Deleted Items folder or a subfolder under one of your other folders. Finding path of messages. Use one of the two script scripts listed here. ok, so now I tried "switch identity" and found "hotmail" as well as "main identity", so chose hotmail, then, it worked!! Miraculously everything is back!!!! Thank you so much!!! <br> The thing is though, I really really didn't touch anything the last time I was using. Problem sending large emails >3MB ??
Using Outlook 2007 and OS7 on 6 month old desktop. Recently developed problem being able to send large (>3MB) emails. Receiving all emails fine and able to send small emails (up to about 2MB). All worked fine for 5 months..then this problem ??? ATT/Yahoo spent several hours trouble shooting to say nothing wrong w/ their server or connection. Email account disappeared
I now have had 3 salesmen have the same thing happen to them. They call up and cannot receive their email anymore. After checking I find that their POP3 email account has disappeared. I walk them through adding the email account back. How to use different return email addresses
I use outlook 98. I have a mailbox with three aliases. People sending me emails can use any of the three email aliases and the email will arrive in the same mailbox. Accessing the mailbox once will retrieve all messages regardless of which alias was used. If I reply to these emails though, I want the recipient to think that the email has come from the alias that they originally used. When I select Track in CRM while sending e-mails, it adds text like CRM:0000100004 in the subject. As a results some of the e-mails sent to customers were not received by them. Later on we founf out that they went to the Junk folder in one case. In another case, the corporate e-mail server blocked the message. HELP: Contacts not showing when writing email Outlook 2003
Hi, I have Win XP Pro with Outlook 2003 (ver. 11.5608.5703) When I try to write an email, Outlook is not "looking" to my contacts... I also try to press the TO: or CC: button to select a contact, but nothing is there.. it is empty. Outlook 2007 Install gone wrong
We recently switched e-mail hosts and I successfully (mostly) switched over my company's accounts from a POP server to our new IMAP server. But I'm trying to set up one more account and am running into issues. Problem sending large emails >3MB ??
Using Outlook 2007 and OS7 on 6 month old desktop. Recently developed problem being able to send large (>3MB) emails. Receiving all emails fine and able to send small emails (up to about 2MB). All worked fine for 5 months..then this problem ??? ATT/Yahoo spent several hours trouble shooting to say nothing wrong w/ their server or connection. Can send large emails via Windows Live and direct from ATT webmail account...so seems like corruption problem maybe w/ Outlook. Avast security has been on since beginning when all worked fine. I now have had 3 salesmen have the same thing happen to them. They call up and cannot receive their email anymore. After checking I find that their POP3 email account has disappeared. How to use different return email addresses
I use outlook 98. I have a mailbox with three aliases. People sending me emails can use any of the three email aliases and the email will arrive in the same mailbox. Accessing the mailbox once will retrieve all messages regardless of which alias was used. If I reply to these emails though, I want the recipient to think that the email has come from the alias that they originally used. When I select Track in CRM while sending e-mails, it adds text like CRM:0000100004 in the subject. As a results some of the e-mails sent to customers were not received by them. Later on we founf out that they went to the Junk folder in one case. In another case, the corporate e-mail server blocked the message.
