duplicate value error message
After successfully running a database for 2 years, suddenly as of 1/20/2010,
I get the following error message after data input into a form, "The changes
you requested to the table were not successful because they would create
duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data
in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or
redefine the index to permit duplicate entries".
I am inputing about 13 values into a form that feeds a master table. The

I have a question, and I would appreciate any tips on the most
efficient way to accomplish my task. I have a worksheet that has 3
pages of data when I print currently. The data is 2 narrow columns on
each page. I would like to take the data from each page, and put it
all on one page side by side ONLY FOR PRINTING purposes. I still want
the user to be able to look at the data as is, but I want the printing
to display the data on one page, with the columns from each page side
by side. I am thinking of copying and pasting the data on pages 2 and
3 to page 1 and then removing it ... but that...Reconnection issue between Winsock Server(VB6) and TCP Client (VB.NET)

I am trying to design a formula that concatenates in cell A3 th
content of cells A1 and A2 together, and by displaying the content o
cell A2 in superscript. This has to be done through a formula, as
want it to be dynamic, and be able to copy elsewhere in the worksheet.
A1 = CAR
A2 = (blue)
A3 should return CAR(blue), but the "(blue)" must be superscript.
P.S. I know this could be done by creating a custom function (usin
VB), but I would prefer doing it using standard Excel functions

We did a Purge of our GL in Great Plains 10 (got rid of 1992 - 2006). Our
database was 40gb to start. The issue is that the purge did not free up any
space. So I ran a SHRINKDATABASE.
DBCC SHRINKDATABASE (N'xxxx', 0,TRUNCATEONLY)
This made our log file go from 4gb to 118mb, didn't change the size of the db
DBCC SHRINKDATABASE (xxxx, 10)
This made our log file go stay @ 118mb and size of the db went down by 3.5gb
DBCC SHRINKDATABASE (xxxx, 20)
It wouldn't run this as it reported there wasn't enough free
So I ran

I have a Windows XP Pro computer that I think has been hit with a virus. It
is not part of a domain currently. I have 2 accounts on the computer
(Administrator and Joe) and when I try and log on to either one it appears
to start the login then goes right to saving settings and logging out. I
even tried to do this in Safe mode so I could run a MalwareBytes but no go.
If I can't log in then I can't run Malware Bytes.

I need to parse a lot of html-files from wikipedia, and I need to do it

I have imported data from some text file to do sum in EXCEL, as it is

B5 has value "2079 " in cell seen as 2079
Now i tried with =SUM(B4:B5), yield 0.000

...Text issue on export
I have a field in access that does calcuations. When I export data along with
this field into excel the exported data is set as text, I need it to be a
value, how can I correct this in access before it hits excel?
That could mean that the calculations you do are written in a text field. How
do you export to Excel? If it via a query you could try placing:
Val([calculation]) in your queryfield, where calculation is the field with
the calculations in it. If you store it in a table (which you shouldn't with
calculations) you should set the datatype to numeric or double...

Type H20 in cell
With mouse, select the 2

Click in the subscript box
Similar steps work for m3. But for squared and cubed you can also:
A)Type m; hold ALT and type 179 on numeric keypad to get m^3.
B) Type cm; hold ALT type 0178 om numeric keypad to get cm^2

...remove white space without changing plot size
Now I know the white space can be removed by draging plot area but without
changing the size of plot I like to remove the white space. Is that
Not impossible, but it is hard to maintain the plot area size. You have
to first make the outer chart area rectangle as small as you need, then
make the plot area as large as you need. You'll probably have to cycle
through resizing of the two rectangles a few times.

Is there any way to add a superscript to a cell that has a
formula in it? Thanks.
Basically no.. There are some workarounds.
I would use a help cell and make it small and insert
superscript there. Assume the formula is in A2,
create a new B2, left align the value and enter the
superscript. Assume you want superscript 2

I have a spreadsheet that contains addresses in a column such as the

in one of two ways. Either would be ok.
The first is (and better for me) would be so that the number portion of

of the addresses in the same cell. For example, "3-764 Neighbourhood
