See if you can install just the Dexterity component from the install CD and
then try to uninstall? Look under Bin\DexCmn on CD 1 or 2.

I remember running into this lately, but just can't remember exactly what I
did to fix it. I want to say that I just ran the full install again and it
let me (not creating a new instance). Then I went back in and uninstalled.
I'm just not sure. Hope this helps find the real solution...

One thing I sometimes forget about is the 'ever so handy' Windows Install
Clean Up utility. It works wonders on wiping out programs when
'uninstalling' doesn't seem to work.

I wrote an article a few months a back describing how to manually uninstall
MS Dynamics GP 10.0 at
http://dynamicsgpblogster.blogspot.com/2008/11/how-to-uninstall-microsoft-dynamics-gp.html.
I posted this as a result of struggling with the issue and the thing was the
Windows Install Cleanup Utility could not deal with the Dexterity Shared
Components as these get registered separately.

Best regards,
