External Interface to GP Project Accounting
Is there a way to interface / access GP Project Accounting bypassing the GUI
interface? Perhaps an API or COM interface. I need to intiate, update, and
close a project programmatically.
eConnect includes an interface to Project Accounting.
Business Portal has some data-entry functionality that might a helpful place
to look, but I think it's geared towards data collection vs.project setup.
Also, I think there are hooks in the Office InformationBridge product.

Outlook has no control over the security of a PDF file, that's handled
by the PDF file creation software and the reader, but you can certainly
e-mail the file to the recipients.

I don't seem to be getting straight information about this issue. In
Outlook Express' mail rules you never, EVER had to check off "Stop
Processing More Rules" to complete a mail rule, and in any event this
tickbox was so far down the list of options that one never saw it. Several
people on this newsgroup have complained about this and wondered why they
never had to check it off before upgrading to Windows 7 and Live Mail (since
Outlook Express has been quietly retired).
A point to consider is that, when one creates a mail rule, the

If the question is "How can I create a PDF file?" the answer is to get any number of PDF
printer drivers and simply open one and print to it. Alternatively, you can look for any
number of open-source PDF converter. Google would be a good start.

You may have accidentally changed the "Normal" Style. Go to Format |
Style... and make sure "General" is applied to the "Normal" style.
I have 2 check boxes in an option group, I have 1 check box for yes and
another for no, when i start typing in a field the no check box automatically
gets checked, I tried to set the default option group value to isNull but
the check keeps appearing in the no box.

Is you option group bound to a yes/no field from your table?
If so, the problem is that Access does not support Null in yes/no fields, so
as soon as you start entering something, the yes/no field becomes False.
Presumably the one text box has the Option Value 0 (for False), ...pivot table format report

I have a user using outlook2000 with every service pack
and patch known to man that will not open 2 attachments.
The attachments are coming from an automatically
generated email from an AS400 system. This user receives
lots of other reports like this and has no problem
opening them OTHER users get these same reports and open
the attachments with no problem. when the user tries to
open the attachment, it opens the system32 folder under
the windows folder and that is all. I haven't a clue as
to what to do about this problem.

I have recently taken over reigns of a new location and have had no
experience with Multicurrency Module. I have read a number of KB articles on
setting up the module and tried to get as knowledgeable as I could. The
question was posed, to which I could find no article on, are you able to set
a default currency when setting up new accounts in the financial cards? Does

When I create a new folder the view is never the way I want it...
- no groups
- no preview
- To field visable and before From field
So I must manually set this up everytime I create a folder.
Is there any way to tell Outlook 2003 that I want ALL email folders to be
setup to my custom standard?

With normal printers there is no problem, just set the scaling to 200%, but
how could one achieve that with Publisher's PDF export feature?
Jan, I use Pub 2000, sans built-in PDF but if you select File, Printer
setup, is PDF listed? If so, can you then select Printer Preferences and
