Installing Business Portal, done, but issues

I've just installed BP 2.0...install went clean.  However now when I try to 
access the site for the first time, I get an Invalid User error (Server Error 
in '/' Application. Invalid user.)  I did change the bp accont to use as per 
the installation instructions to the "Network Service" account.  Do I need to 
setup or add the actual users somewhere else first?  I did not install the 
sample users.

I was able to sort of login with the local server account, which is what I 
used to install the product.  But most of the web parts show errors like the 
above.

Chris,

When you first install Business Portal 2.0, the only user that will be able 
to log in is the user that did the installation.

To add more users to the Business Portal, you will need to do the following:
1. Launch into the Business Portal (Make sure to use the path with the 
machine name and not localhost. For example, 
http://MachineName/Sites/BusinessPortal

2. Once in the Business Portal, go to Sites Settings and from the Portal 
Elements window, click on Manage Business Portal Users.

3. Towards the bottom of the window, you will see a link to add users. It is 
through this wizard that it launches that you are able to add users to the 
Business Portal.

Yes, make sure you are logging in as the user that originally installed BP.

Here is a trick to be able to change users each time - go to your Internet 
Options in IE.  Add your BP server as a "Trusted Site".  Then adjust security 
settings ("Custom Level" button) for your trusted sites - you'll need to 
enable the various ActiveX options to get BP to work.  

Then all the way at the bottom of the list of security options in the 
Authentication area is one that says "Prompt for username and password".

Now every time you try to access BP, you'll get the login box. This allows 
you to specify a different user account other than who you are currently 
logged in as. This is very helpful when you are assigning security and 
testing out different roles. You don't need to log out of your machine and 
log in as someone else - you just close your browser and launch BP again and 
login to BP as that other user.

Dont forget you can assign Domain users via the SecuritySetupUtility.exe 
application  located on
c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\bin   depending on the location of the website you 
installed BP to. This application is easier to use when seting up many users 
as the same time.   This is a additional choice to what Rekoj mentioned. 
Also a tip,  if you need to want a user to access Great Plains via TS on 
Bussiness Portal you need assign a backoffice user  (the user great plains 
account) within BP.

I just started using Money HB 2008 and I have an investment account which is for my small business. Failed to install: Business Data Lookup Snap-in for CRM 3.0

How to tell what Updates have been Installed?
I just tried the Microsoft AutoUpdate and it says there are no updates for your software at this time. I then clicked on the "View Installed Update" button and shows no history. Just blank page. My Entourage version is 12.0.1 and I think this is the current version. Should the 12.0.0 to 12.0.1 update be displayed on the installed updates page? How can this update be added to the blank installed updates page? There were some issues with 12.0.1, obviously--it doesn't show on my machine either. Money 2005 file conversion issue from 2004
Bought the software and loaded it to my laptop. Did the file conversion (running 2004) and it opened the file......once the first update occurred the application goes dead - screen freeze. Now when I open 2005 the screen immediately freezes.........I also noticed in my directory that my original file which was about 10mg is now 60mg............ When I create a new file in 2005 it works fine and everything is good. So it appears the Money 2005 is have a problem with my existing 2004 money file......... Anyone else having this problem???????? I have a new computer with Window 7 operating system. I used my original disk and product code to install Office 2003 and it seemed to go well. During an install on an Enterprise server 03 SP1, I have run into DEP or Data Encription Protection. This stops each of the crystal services upon install and therefor after the install we recieved the infamous crystal license error. We checked and the APS service is not started and will not start no matter what we try. Also there is three tables missing from the Crystal database: APS_IdNumbers2, APS_InfoObjects2 and APS_VersionInfo. CRM SBS install error
I installed CRM on SBS 2003 and had 1 problem with the Reporting Server being incorrect. But the CRM Setup Wizard tool would not run (kept getting an exception). So, I tried a repair of the CRM setup - no good. Then did an uninstall, and re-install. Cannot see installed fonts in programs after installing with Font
OS 10.4 with current updates. Installed a TTF using the Font Book and it shows there correctly. But when going into Word for example, type in text, highlight it, click on the font format and the new font that was installed will not show in the list.
