Great Plains and RMS
I've upgraded our RMS systems to service pack 3.
We now have the option of selecting the GP accounting option.
It looks like we have to download an add-on for Great Plains..
Is this true ?
The one out there only says for import to GP 7.5
We are currently running GP 8.0.
Will it work for this version?
Do I even need this add-on, now that you can select the GP accounting option?
KB 893330 discusses integration with GP 8.0, but the links are broken for
the download. If my memory is correct, there was talk about a 10/01/05

I am trying to generate a chart from an excell file which contains my data.
After selecting all rows and columns, I go to Data > Pivot table and pivot
chart report. Wizard show that I ahve selected the Excell list and Pivot
table. But when I click Finish button, it does not show the Pivot table field
list window. How can I view this window to drag data for the rows and columns
in order to get the report/chart.
This works on my wife's computer but does not work on my computer at my work.

My work week starts on Tuesday. I would like to have my worksheet show
column A-1 row starting with the date 05/25/04, the A-2 cell immediately
below it 06/01/04 and so on. Can I replicate this with out having to type
the date for each successive Tuesday through the year?

Not easily no. You can always use the 'Multiple consolidation ranges'
option to choose both sets of data as your source, but you probably won't
like the result.

What do you mean by: in a different notebook?
You can try it like this but if a different notebook means a different
workbook (file) then that workbook (file) must be open for this to work.

I found a KB document KB862207 to instruct me how to print document note on
SOP Blank invoice form but how can I do the same for SOP History Blank
I tried to use the same instruction to work it on SOP_HDR_HIST table but
when I tried to print, no document note printed out. I cannot locate any KB

Does some one now if there is an option in Outlook XP to read messages by

We need to update address tables in GP10.
All of the Fields on the tables are set to null = N.
Some of the address fields in our input source has nulls. What can we do to
be able to get our data into the tables
What is your source? CSV? TXT? a SQL table? an XML file?
What tool will you be using to integrate the data? eConnect? Integration
Manager? a SQL update statement?
Usually, if your address has nulls in the source, you should be able to
replace with a blank character ("", or '' depending on the source) not a

Any help is welcome.
The easiest thing would be to purchase one of the third-party modules that
are available. One tool is from Accountable Software called Forms Printer.
Another tool is Crystallizer. I cannot remember who makes it, though.

In a pivot table, how do you rearrange the column order in the data
Right now I show columns named A, B, C, and Grand Total.
I want to be able to rearrange them as follows (for example):
Grand Total, B, A, C.
I am using Excel 2000.
i'm not sure if you can move the "grand total" column, but the others can be
easily re-arranged by just typing the names in the order you want (ensure

In query design view, choose Append on the Query menu (or in Access 2007,
Append on the Design ribbon.)
Access adds a row to the design grid where you can map the fields.

We have Great Plains (PersonnelOracle Version 2002.03.15 3.0.6. and PowerTool
2002.03.19. 3.1.1.) installed. Previously we have used Office 2000 and the
Word merge was working perfectly. Upgrading to 2002 or 2003 the Word merge
stopped working, I suppose we need new templates for Word 2003 (.dot files).
