Graduated pricing- mult-tiered pricing, bracket pricing

We have a client that wants to charge only for items over 500 units. Less
than that would be subject to a minimum charge. We did a item for the
minimum charge but when we did the price level with 0-500 units at zero cost
and item 501-9999999 at $0.50. (It is similar to the income tax brackets)
It charged for all 501 at .50 not just the one unit. The extended pricing
module says it can have multi-tiered pricing but there is no training
material addressing it and Microsofts search engine has no results on how to
do it, but does mention it in the marketing material.

In other words what you are saying is, the first 500 units regarding
of how many are being sold will have a minimum charge, anything above
500 will go at the regular price of $.50 per unit? If this is the
case, you will have to have 2 items created as you already discovered.
The first item, say ITEM_A1 will have to be your minimum charge item,
ITEM_A2 will have to represent any number of units above the initial

For example, if the customer orders 501 items, your invoice line item
will look something like this:

ITEM_A1 500 Each $the_minimum_price_here
ITEM_A2 1 Each $.50

Tiered pricing, as can be understood in Extended Pricing allows you to
set, usually, decremental prices as the tiers escalate and the number
of units being sold increase, as you already discovered.

Graphical co-ordinates format data label (with brackets) for chart
Hi all! Using Excel 2007, I have made a chart using a data series with the x-values in one column and the y-values in another. I wish to show the data label for these points, but want to include the brackets to replicate the mathematical way of expressing the co-ordinate i.e. that the data label would read (-8, 6) instead of -8, 6. I've tried creating a custom data label using format codes, but I'm getting nowhere fast. Can anyone help please? Also, I have a second series on the same graph that I do NOT want to display this information (I'm making a teaching resource). It d...

Price Pointing/Complex Rounding
I have a client who is trying to price his shop stock using Excel. The problem is that he has taken his cost price and multiplied it by his markup, which is an easy formula. He is now left with his selling price, but what he wants to do is round the selling price up to either the nearest 5 or 10 and subtract 5p. To explain this further, if his exact selling price is 123.45 he wants to round this up to 124.95, but if his exact selling price is 125.67 he wants to round this up to 130.95. Does anyone know how to do this formula in Excel, in words it will basically say if below pounds end...

Edit product cost/price on the fly
Despite the blurb, CRM seems to be very product-focussed. As a service-based company we'd like to use CRM to pre-define a "product" (e.g. a training day, or an event) so that users can pick from a standard list. However, the nature of the business means that each discrete supply of a "product" is going to incur different costs, and attract a different sales price, as it is tailored to client needs. Is there a way of being able to divorce the "product" from the fixed Price List, or at least to edit the cost/price information associated with each indi...

So what I'm inputting is: =SUM((B52:B56)-(66.53))*.78 And what I'm getting is an error msge. I've already checked to mak sure all cells are formatted for number, 2 decimal places. WHAT GIVES??? Cashiers changing prices: "access pricing" and discounts
