gp 10 -how to show a list of sop documents for a specific customer?

Hello,

What is the best way to return all SOP documents for a specific customer 
using GP10 list? (not smartlist)

This is our problem:
-we go to the Customers list.
-select a customer and  goto > "view transactions"

our problem is that any sop transaction that we click on that is moved to 
history, opens the AR transaction instead of the SOP document.

Context? a customer calls and wants to know if something they bought is 
under warranty but they have no clue when they bought it. So we will not 
know what date is was bought. We are just using SOP, not service management.

Why not SmartList?  SmartList would not have an issue with this.....also, 
what specifically are the callers providing?  A serial number, or just the 
item number?

I agree with Victoria.

Smarlist is the tool designed for these kinds of queries.

Another way to look at SOP invoices is to go to

inquiry
sales
sales documents

You can choose a customer.  However you will have to drill down on the
documents in order to see the line items.

I guess I was hoping that the Navigation Lists would work but it seems they 
are in some cases almost unusable.  Smartlists is great but it has some 
limitations  (Lookups: I want to lookup a customer and then find all their 
documents, I don't want to have to lookup a customer ID elsewhere and then 
have to copy and paste or "remember" what it was to type it in Smartlist.

The SOP Document Inquiry is good but it isn't flexible enough. (Can't change 
how it sorts, always opens the inquiry screen if I click on the Document 
Number zoom).

Mostly the original intent of this post was to make sure I'm not missing 
something before I post at Microsoft Connect on how to make the Navigation 
Lists better, way better.

Account list headings
Of the headings in the account list: Account; Last Updated; To Review; Bank Balance; and Adj. Balance. I only have details in the Account name column and the adjusted balance column. Could someone tell me how/when the other fields are used? Only showing images when Netmeeting open?
Hi, hope someone can help as I'm stumped on this one. I've upgraded to Office SP 2 but now images do not display in Publisher files. The strange thing is that the images do show if Netmeeting is open at the same time!! I've checked the show images settings in options and they are fine. Fabrication and GP
I need to know how to process a transaction in GP. We are a sales - distribution center. We do some light fabrication. We need to find a way in GP to take one part or more parts, do fabrication work with them, then put them back into the system as a new part. For example, we take drum rollers and send them to a local fabricator who drills holes in them, inserts "brushes", then sends them back to us as a brush roller.
