merging 2 -3 different MS money files into one
over a period of testing and doing other things i have created multiple MS
Money files mostly with the same accounts and same transactions, the main
difference is the transactions that are available in those files, the oldest
file has the oldest transactions and newest one has all the new transactions
but both contain some common
so i want to merge all of them into one so that i can get all transactions
from the begining till now. what is the best method to do this.

We have 3 distribution lists that we use to send mail to our 3
different regions. I have users in each list that are not reciving the
e-mails sent to the lists. I have verified their email address's, made
sure they were in the right group. I can look at the email (it gets
sent to me as well) and I can see that they are in the list.
Now, if I send them an e-mail from their contact, they get it. Its just
when we send them e-mail on this list.

export their contacts to an Excel file, any internal (domain) contacts show
the X400 address rather than the SMTP address.

Afraid there is no easy way to do this. You could use a Post-URL action to send
the message and it could expand out the team members. Also note that you can...one workbook, multiple users....
I plan to create a single workbook which multiple users will
add their data into. It is possible that two or more users
might attempt to add data simultaneously, but this might not
always occur since only 16 people will have access to the
workbook. Most users will probably close the multi-user
workbook when they are finished....some users might also

Ok, so I have setup my test environment again. Now I have to create security
all over from scratch to define what will be used in production. Is there a
way to export from the test environment and then import it into the newly
upgraded installation? In both cases security has been/will be completely
removed from the 8.0 install (restored on new server) before being upgraded

number/address changes etc. and my help desk person is bugging me to allow
some secretary access to do the updates. I do not know of any secure way to

My Sony Vaio laptop has Windows Vista Home Premium. I have two users
set-up, user K (with Administrator rights I believe and a password) and
user N. If I login as user K, after I enter my password my computer
will run for a bit (I can see/hear it logging in) but after a few
minutes the screen goes black except for my white cursor and nothing
else happens. If I then hit ctrl-alt-del I can see the Task Manager and
switch users to user N which will start up normally and give me access

if the addresses are in a column, you should just need to copy the column

Ok, this should be fairly simple but I'm a excel novice. I have two
worksheets. One contains all data with each row representing a
different store. I then have another worksheet that is a form. I
need to fill out a form for each store. The information maps the same

I am new to money. I want to be able to access money both from work and at
home. To facilitate this, I have a portable Hard Drive. I installed money
to it at home, installed money to it at work (stoopid registry) pointed both
instances to a single money file.
Now, when I run it at home, everything is fine. When I run it at work I get
a critical file is missing error. I reinstall at work and everything is fine
again. I go home and voila! A critical file is missing error! <grrr />

When I open Excel, a new workbook appears called "Book1.xls". On my home
computer, I can go on to close Excel down without it asking me to save
Book1. However, in my work computer, it asks whether I want to save
changes to Book1. Both are Excel 2002. Is there a setting I need to

Hi there. Having resolved my previous EMS Data import issues, I have
now moved on to more complicated things (importing supplier lists,
aliases etc). However, these operations require the item ID for each
item - something I don't have. Is there some way I can export these
from the database so I know what item ID corresponds to each item. I
have run a query in Administrator (select itemlookupcode, ID from item)
which tells me this, but I haven't worked out how to export this out to

i.e. Charts and Data.
I want to do a relative copy of both sheets so that all the links in Charts
(2) update to the new Data (2).
This is what I have do,
Select both Sheets using <cntrl, right click>
Right click on tab area, select 'move copy'
Check copy, create copy
This creates new sheets with xxxxx (2) as the name.
The cell formulas all update to the new Data (2) worksheet as expected.
But the charts in Charts (2) still reference the original Data worksheet.

Sadly, the fix is to switch off the grid lines :(
