I am working on a static library which uses MFC dialogs in Visual Studio 7.
My client application also uses MFC dialogs. When I include the library .lib
file in the client project, I get a bunch of errors similar to the
LNK2005: "public: __thiscall CDialog::CDialog(void)" (??0CDialog@@QAE@XZ)
already defined in mfc71.lib(MFC71.DLL)
Normally I can resolve this kind of error by specifying a different include
order, i.e. by adding mfc71.lib to the "ignore specific library" section in

I have 2 user who wants to run different duplicate detection rule on the
same entity. Is there a way to set the security so they can use their own
duplicate rule and not run also the rule from the other user.
They need to have read acces on all record from that entity.

No, there isn't a way to set the scope of a duplicate detection rule the way
you can with a workflow rule. Would be a good suggestion for the product

If I understand correctly, you have a scenario like:

i have 3 tables with 1 Form, now this form takes data for 2 table from user
and from same this form if sumbody clicks on list box it opens 2 forms which
takes data for 2 table.
now the problems is when user click this list box..it also stores the list
items in second table n all other field on this form is from 1st table .This
list box has 4 items in listbox but 2 table doesnt store repeat data of this
may be this consfusing but pls help me out??

...Sorting in Pivot table
I have a data set I am putting into a pivot table to show the data over time
but do no not want the data added up.
I have the product as a page by, the classification in row, mont in column,
and # and % in data. The problem is it is adding the West New Customers and
West Continuing Customers together. The data is already calculated so I just
need the pivot to view the months across columns and the ability to choose a
product to view. Is this possible without changing the data itself?

I am an Access newbie. I THINK this can be done.
I would like to have a search box on a form where a user can enter text and
click a "Search" button. Clicking the search button will a) run a multiple
table query (on a single field in each table) and b) display the results of
this query in a report for the user to view. I basically need to conduct a
multi-table query with the criteria equal to the text that the user enters in
the text box, and display the results in a report.
Is this do-able? Or am I delusional?

We are taking on new customers and buying divisions that support data center
environments. Our numbering schemes do not match and we are finding the
inflexiblity of GP Contracts to be difficult in many ways. This a glaring
weakness in the module and I would suggest not only making Contract
Entry/Next Contract Number a larger alpha numeric field, but that you also
allow Contract Types to have a unique numbering default that could be
overwritten and tied to the contract type. I would settle for something
similar to SOP in the short term, but really looking for anything to help

I have a CSV file containing over 2000 leads that I would like to import
into CRM 3.0. We currently have almost 5000 leads in CRM 3.0 already. Yes,
we like to keep our sales team busy ;)
I'd like to import the leads from the CSV file, however I want to avoid any
duplication. A duplicate would be two (or more) leads with the same name and
company. Also, I'd like to avoid the situations for a company where the CSV

I copy a contract of CONTOSO Company.
I change in new contract, so that it refers to "ACME", instead to CONTOSO:
service customer as well as billing customer.
When I go to contract lines, they still have CONTOSO.

I have a pivot table where I can left click on the fields such as Customer
or Sum of Quantity and it highlights all of the cells in that fields row or
column in a reverse video and then I can format that data and everything is
great. I am working with someone over the phone that when they click on the
field, it does not highlight the associated data cells and therefore they

I am having any problems to register the CRM installation, when I lauch the
CRM Registration Wizard I receive the next error:

keys for both tables.
You would probably use a surrogate key -- such as ClientID (AutoNumber) --
for the Clients table. For the Addresses table, you could also use a
surrogate key -- AddressID (AutoNumber) -- and a Foreign Key -- ClientID

I attempted the workaround for the problem with duplicate accounts
that consists of Enabling Synchronization using the Deluxe Portfolio
Manager on MoneyCentral and reading in the *.mny file.
Unfortunately, although this did initiate a Sync with Money 2005 and
it updated my portfolio information it also created the duplicate MSN
Billpay account. I still have two checking accounts, one that was
always pre-existing, and a new one that BillPay created.
Unfortunately, I am unable to merge the two accounts (No accounts to
merge when attempting to use the option). I am using the latest
