Larry,

Check the installation directory path given in the package and check the
installation directory for the GP installed in the client. Say, the package
path is mentioned E Drive and your current Client installation directory is C
Drive, this will arise. Ensure your installation package installation
directory path is same as the client installation directory path

Larry,

Can you give further detail on this?
1. What is the version and service pack installed on your server?
2. What is the current version on client if already installed?
3. Installation package is created for which version?

What I'm thinking is you are trying to put an installation package on an
already installed instance of Client and the client is expecting the service
pack to be installed seperately and not alongwith the package.

I removed GP10.0 on this new client machine, and it doesn't have GP9.0. It
let me install from the client install package that i created, but once open
GP it says"
Dictionary \\dbc-gp\moddynamics\forms\forms.dic needs to be upgraded. Use
Microsoft GP utilities to update your modified forms and reports.

The forms were have already been updated on the server.

Larry,

It is a MUST starting SP3 to upgrade the Forms and Dictionaries whether it
is client or server. So, Though you did it on server, repeat the same for the
client also.

You should be good thereafter

Which IP address is that when you are connecting from a laptop(HQ server) to PC inside the store (HQ client) over VPN? I could be accessing from home or Starbucks and the IP on the laptop changes. Corrupt emails after installing Exchange 2003 SP2
I am running exchange 2003 enterprise on windows 2003 server SP1. A couple of weeks ago I installed SP2 on my exchange. Everything went OK during the install and the server seems to function as before. The only problem is that I seem to be receving 5 to 6 corrupt emails a day. When you open the attached message, however, it is empty and is marked "this message has not been sent". It has been suggested that this may be being caused...
