Tracing e-mail back to its source on a LAN

I am running Exchange Server 2003 on a small LAN. I have
reason to believe that a virus has infected something on
the LAN and is sending outbound e-mails. I have scanned
each system and cannot find a problem but our volume of
outbound email is much higher than it should be. I want
to setup logging so I can track all of the outbound e-
mails to their source and hopefully find the computer that
is infected. I do not have much experience with Exch
Server 2003. Could someone point me to a good beginners
article or howto that will show me how to setup logging so
I can trace the source of e-mails on the LAN.

Why doesn't a person's Title show up in mail merge?
Hello all. I created a postcard in Publisher and then did a mail merge using my Outlook Contacts. It worked perfectly EXCEPT it ignored the Title field. I tried different fields; I inserted "Job Title," "Title," and "Courtesy Title", but the person's title never appeared in the address portion of the postcard. What am I missing? I hope someone has insight into this and I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Cat. I don't use the Mail Merge function so my suggestion may be a bit off. Did you add the Field Code for the Title in the Mail Merg...

Exchange won't forward e-mails until reboot
A few days ago, Exchange stopped delivering e-mails. It would receive our e-mails (either from inside the company or outside), but not deliver them. Rebooting the Exchange server fixed the problem temporarily. However, each night the problem has returned. When we get in in the morning, we reboot the Exchange server and everything is fine - until the next morning. It appears that the problem is occuring at different times each night. When we look in the message tracking center, it appears that each e-mail sent during the evening is stuck after a message called "message submitt...

5.5: use contacts public folder as mailing list?
Hi everybody, I have unsuccessfully been trying to set up some kind of simple mailing list based on the contents of a public folder. I have found a workaround using an Outlook 97 local address book, but I can't believe that that is the only answer. I have tried setting up a distribution list, but emails sent to that list just end up in that folder, rather than use the addresses from the folder. The usenet provided me with similar questions from the past, but surprisingly I couldn't find an answer. Michael ...

New History Item, Mail Message sends all messages as Rich Text Format
We are using Business Contact Manager 2007 with Outlook 2007. We are not using Exchange server as a backend, just plain old pop3/smtp mail servers. Problem we are having is when we open up an account, Click on New History Item, Mail Message, and if we send an attachment with that, the person that receives the message gets it in Rich Text format. If we right click on the Email address itself and click on Send Mail. The message will be sent out fine. Right click on the message and looking at the properties of the email address has the internet format listed as "Let Outlook decide the ...

Automatically empty junk mail folder
Yes, yes, I know what you're thinking - just tell Outlook to send Spam directly to the Deleted Items folder. One problem with this. I have three email accounts set up within Outlook. You can't set up junk mail options separately for each account. One of my POP accounts gets the most filthy spam, but my hotmail account gets a lot of relevant mail ending up in the junk mail folder. If I tell Outlook to send junk mail directly to the Deleted Items folder, ALL junk mail for ALL accounts goes straight to Deleted Items. I just want spam to one of my POP accounts to be deleted. Data Source Displayed in Web Part?
Currently I have a Team Site which has a subsite containing 1 document library and what I'm trying to do is diplay this subsite doc library on the parent site. Considering this library is not an option to add from the browsers "add webpart" functionality, I assume this needs to be done through SP Designer? Do I need to add the data source first? And if so, how do I then display this as a web part? Again, the goal is simply to display the sub-site's doc library as a webpart on the parent site. Please advise on the best way to accomplish this. -- Thanks,...
