Recover using Trans act logs?

Is it possible to roll back the exchange database to recover deleted emails
if I have all the trans act files?

What I am looking to do is recover a particular days set of emails; the
deletion settings on the Mailbox store on the Exchange 2k3 is set for 1
day...I need to be able to retrieve a series of emails on a particular day
last week. The recover deleted email option on the client will not work
becuase of such short Exch Server deletion setting (hard delete).

Can a recovery be done? If so, would you point me in the correct direction?

Many thanks,

Mel

You'll have to go to backups. If you have Exchange 2003 use the Recovery
Storage Group and it will be very straightforward.

How do you recover a parameter?
Hello, I would like to execute an excel file, for example, with a file name file.xls zz.txt And afterwards, in that file, I would like to recover the name zz.txt. Could you please help me? Thanks. Dave, I'm not sure what you mean by "execute" the Excel file, or "recover the name." It sounds as though you want to make a txt file from the xls file. If so, you'll need to open it in Excel, then do File - Save As, with the file type set to txt. -- Earl Kiosterud www.smokeylake.com ----------------------------------------------------------------------- &...

Using installer Cleaner
Sorry, my initial post mentionned mistaken Registry cleaner. I meant Installer Cleaner. Installer Cleaner is a neat tool when the standard uninstall process fails. Junk Mail Filters -- how to use them?
In two weeks, I've graduated from being a baby-Outlook user to a toddler. Please continue to bear with me. I have activated junk mail filters in Outlook 2002. using Word as my e-mail editor
By choice, I have Word as my e-mail editor in Outlook 2002. When I open a regular Word document from within the Word e-mail editor, it does so in a new window. Resource leak when using CToolbar in windows XP
Hi, One of our applications does a lot of printing. We found that in windows 2000 and windows XP, it crashes after printing 2224 docs. The error says "Cannot create empty document". On further investigation, we found that this crash happens when the number of GDI objects used up by the application reaches 10000. The same application works fine in windows 2003 - only 481 GDI objects are used. I executed the code in debugger. Found that everytime it uses a CToolbar, atleast 6 to 8 GDI objects are allocated.
