Public Folder store issue - Help is required

I dont ask a question relating to this earlier with no response.

I overwrote our public folder store database with an old backup from another
server, yes stupid i know please only make helpful comments on what to do
next, Our mailbox store appears to still be running perfectly everyone can
access their email and send/receive fine.

I assume the best thing to do next is to either recreate a public store, as
the one which i overwrote will not start, obviously, or, if possible,
rollback the public store to the stage it was at 2 days ago(i dont have a
backup and there wasn't anything important relating to public folders in the
public store, but i believe that the public store is required for the
mailboxes to work correctly?

If i delete the currently damaged public store which wont start, will this
have any effect on the mailboxes, if i delete can i just create a new public
store within the same storage group and link this to the mailbox store?

Or is there anyway to rollback the public store through logfiles to how it
was 2 days ago(i have no backups as the public folders had no information
which was needed for us).

If anyne could give me some advice on the best next step i would appreciate
it, i dont want to mess up the mailbox store and this is my current concern.

The Public Folder store is not required for mailboxes to work properly (for
the most part), but is required for things such as Free/Busy data to be
generated. If as you say, you do not have any important information in your
Public Folder store, then I would do the following:

1. Delete the Public Folder database files (pub1.edb and pub1.stm) - should
be fine since you have a backup of the current non-working files, but you
can move or rename the current files instead if you want to. Without a
backup, you won't be able to roll-back to a previous version.
2. Go to your Public Folder Store in ESM and Mount it. It will warn you
that a new database will be created. Fine. Let it create it. The Public
Folder Store should now mount and be in a working state. It is likely that
the System folders will not be present. Follow the instructions in this KB
article to re-create them. Probably the most important to the clients are
the Free/Busy and Offline Address Books (if you have any cached mode Outlook
2003 clients).

Why won't my 2 publication pages switch to 2-pg view as asked?
This is a brand new publication. It only has two pages to it. There is hardly any content and NO web links. But when I use the VIEW drop down menu and click that very first option saying "Two-page spread", Microsoft Publisher does absolutely NOTHING! No, not in print view ... i'm saying "nothing". Yes, I've restarted my computer... all that. Also, in the master page view many of the options are totally greyed-out. Why doesn't microsoft just fix its software instead of adding new inefficient ones? You must have three or more pages to see a two-page ...
