Just had an issue that in 10 years of using Access never saw - just wondering

I have a form running a query, the user enters a date. The report needs to
show the date - so the query has a field like this:
report date: [Forms!]![frm_report]![txtReportDate]
I had a problem exporting to Excel - seems the direct placement in the query
led to characters that Excel could not understand. I actually had another
date field from the form that I did a date add on, it worked fine. I
eventaully put the form reference in a Format, the issue was gone.

We have created a custom entity called Property. This entity has a many to
one relationship to the Contact entity so that one Contact can be associated
with many Properties. The Property entity is also related one to many to

We are not using the Account entity in CRM and have therefore not granted
any priveledges for the Account entity to any users. This way, the Account
entity will not show up on users wonderbar, menus, lookups, etc. Having done

I had my ISP bag my email due to my SBS 2003 system board going bad and
waiting for replacement. When I restore the SBS all I have recieved is the
email send and recieved from the date the server has been up.I double check
to mak sure the same username mailboxes were recreated, but still not bagged
email. I called the ISP and they said I should have recieved email that was
bagged and to check my logs. How do I check my logs in exchange??? I only am
aware of the windows event logs. Is that what they mean?? Any help would be

I have 7 messages in the Local Delivery Message Queue that showed up this
morning. All are in a retry state. The sender is Exch5.5-PubIS@domain.com
and the recipient is Exch2k3-IS@domain.com. Can someone please explain what
these messages are? Should I delete them? I'm not sure why they are not
being delivered. If more information is needed, please let me know.

In our company, we have 18 month sales cycle for one of our major products.
Communications happen between teams of sometimes 50 people making a decision
to purchase this product.
Our Sales folks have 250 MB of space for their mailbox which I feel is
plenty. However, they complain that they are hitting the threshold and when
they move their CRM related email from their inbox to a PST or other folder,
it breaks the CRM link.
What are some best practices for this issue out there?

= True in modifier. If not, do I have to use VBA. How to prevent a record
from saving until that field is populated? Example: Distribution Reference in

I want to insert a link to an email message in an excel file. I know I can
save my Outlook message to a .msg file and then link to that. Is it also
possible to somehow just point to that message if outlook is open? I'd like
to do away with the step of saving the file somewhere.
For some reason or another, my Outlook is sending out messages that I
personnaly am not sending. I keep getting messages back saying that the
recepient is not recognized. Some messages assert that the messages coming
from my Outlook (that I'm not sending) are SPAM.
Is there something that I can check relative to my Outlook to see if there
is a hidden rule or something that keeps sending out these messages that I
am not personaly sending.
I've run antivirus, ad-aware, and deleted all my rules.

I have a field that performs a calcualtion based on a date:
I need to add to the criteria >50
But the error says Arithmatic overflow error, guess because it was a date
value to begin with.
I tried creating anothe field from that one: Age at Panel: ([Age]>50) which
give me a -1 or 0 but I still cannot make the criteria = -1 or 0.
I tried another query but it just carries over the same issues.
How do I allow only >50 from this calculation????

Recently I started using calculated fields in word extensively. I write a
lot of technical documents with a lot of calculation in them. Since all
calculations are chain-like I am assigning values to variables and then use
them. At the end of the document I end up with more than 100 variables which
are difficult to track.
So my question is how can I track my variables in Word (something like a
panel where I can see them)?
