NDR after user deleted.

Hi,

I'm having a problem where when certain people send a meeting request
to the same person in our organization, an NDR is returned as
followed:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

      Subject:	Accepted: Example
      Sent:	1/10/2005 7:00 AM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

Mystery User on 1/10/2005 7:00 AM
The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this
message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the
recipient directly to find out the correct address.
            <exchange.myserver.local #5.1.1>

Now this person's AD account was deleted before my time, so i checked
the offending recipients rules settings and checked for a forwarding
rule. I deleted the one in relation to our mystery user, yet messages
continued to bounce back with the above error when meetings were
scheduled.

It gets better, not everyone who schedules a meeting with this person
gets the bounce back. On top of that, the two users that are getting
this message that i know of, are both using different versions of
outlook (2000,2003) and they're AD accounts were created almost 2
years apart (and not copied from another user).

I'm stumped at this point, i've looked at this guy's exchange rules on
any kind of profile he has (locally, on our terminal server), yet the
messages still prevail.

If anyone has any ideas what kind of ghost has shacked up in my
exchange box, exorcision instructions would be greatly apprieciated,

Cheers,

Chris

Create standard folders in all users mailboxes.
I am playing with some email archiving software and instead of applying archiving rules to a user's inbox, I want to create a standard folder that users can move their mail to so it can be archived. Im sure there is a way to create this folder for all users as well as ensure it stays there in the future (and for new users, etc) ... Any suggestions ? Email received but immediately disappears from one user to one receipient
I have a situation where email from one user within our domain, shows in the Inbox and preview, but immediately disappears. It is not in the Deleted Items or Junk Mail, and no rules are set. Emails from other users, within the domain and from outside, arrive fine. Messages is selected as the View. Others within the domain are receiving messages from the sender fine. I logged on to a different machine as the sender, sent an email, and the recipient received it correctly. This led me to believe that there may be a virus/spyware issue on the senders machine. After running multiple anti-spyw...

Dynamics GP login should let users know when caps lock is on
A common issue we have with users is that they forget they have their Caps Lock on when they try to log into Microsoft Dynamics GP. Their login fails, and they call the system administrator for help. The login to the Windows operating sytem does warn when the caps lock is on and it would be nice to have this functionality in the next version of Dynamics GP. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Move users from one AD to another
I have about 600 users in one AD domain and I would like to move them to another domain in a separate forest. I have them all in one Exchange 2003 server currently but I'm removing that domain completely. Is it possible to move all the users in the OU to another Exchange 2003 server or do I have to reenter each user? I'm not concerned with the mailbox store, I just want to move the users. TIA Bobby bjanow@nospam.msn.com Look at Active Directory migration tool (ADMT 2.0). Another possibility is exporting all users to a flat file and importing to the new location using LDIFDE...

Why can't my user view data
I have two users - one is the manager of the other. They are both in the same Business Unit, of course. The manager has CEO role assigned to him. When the manager logs in, he does not see his employee's accounts, contacts, etc. even though his role gives him Organizational-level access to all data. However, when we run a list report, he is able to see all accounts, contacts, etc. Any ideas as to why he is not able to see all the records outside of reports? this is weird as the reporting system will show you what you have access to so i would expect the other CRM views to show...

I deleted a few of my accounts in MS money, but when I go to click on reports and transactions by catagories, it still shows all my transactions from accounts I deleted in MS Money. What did I do wrong and how can I delete the accounts properly so MS money has no records of these other accounts? thank you You possibly have closed the accounts, rather than deleted them. It depends on the version, but if you go to the account list and right click the account, one of the options is delete, which should remove it completely. Of course, if you have closed the account, then it won't show he...

I'd also be interested in hands on training, not just the CRM 101 and what it can do - but a time when we could ask specific questions, seeking s...
