Move messages from Inbox after X number of daysHi,
Does anyone have an Exchange Server script that you could send me whose
purpose is to check messages in the Inbox and if they are X many days
old to move them to another folder under the Inbox on the Exchange
server. I'm using Exchange 5.5 and Outlook 2003.
Thanks.

Hide Outlook messages errorHi,
is it possible to hide the error window for a particular
internet account.
I've this problem: an internal POP3 mail server doesn't
support shared access to a single mailbox. This mailbox is
needed to receive faxes and all user check this mailbox
every 2 minutes.
The problem (for users work) is raised when the error
window appear too many times in a day...
May is it possible to hide this windows via registry
settings or other else?
thanks in advance.
Massimo Artini
No, not possible. Better is to lower the frequency users check the mailbox.

Deleting Duplicate messagesSomehow, I managed to copy a thousand or so messages twice
into my Inbox.
Does anyone have a quick way to delete the duplicates?
Bill
I have exactly the same problem, only with several thousand messages.
I tried to export the messages to another .pst file with the "do not export
duplicates" option set, but it did not work. I also tried to export to
another format such as Excel or Access, but it stripped out the attachments.
Watching this thread closely.....
Cheers,

Reverse NDR AttackI know I am not the only one suffering from this.
My exchange 5.5 server is getting hammered by reverse NDR
mail attacks. Mail has become unusable and my Internet
Pipe is full of spam. Unfortunately this server has great
access to the internet and is a speedy box. It can
deliver spam at an exhaustive rate and has become popular
for spammers to hit.
I understand that there is no way to disable the NDR's in
exchange. Is there a way to verify the validity of the
senders address before we accept the mail?
My thoughts were somewhat inline with

Excel does not give you the ability to resize these boxes. If you need more

It appears that when I'm replying to a plain text message, editing functions

You'd need to switch to HTML format - plain text is, well, plain text. That
means no formatting.

Messages showing up as enclosures?Hi -
When I send messages from my office email (Outlook 2000, Exchange 2000)
to 2 specific people, my messages show up as an enclosure or an attachment
to a message. Any attachments I had sent are gone. When I send that same
message to others, including my personal email address, they are fine. They
both use Outlook, one uses 2000, not sure about the other. Also, if I paste
a table from Word into the email, they see a string of text, the table is
gone.
Any suggestions as to what I can look for to fix this?
Thanks -

right click on the combobox and choose properties.

I found the problem. I inadvertently created a draft email message with a

migrating from Ex5.5 to Ex2003Hi, ...we are in the process of migrating to Ex2003 . I've read that outlook
server and client base rules cannot be migrated.. If so, what are my options

Hi,
Thank you for posting here.
Per my knowledge, when we migrate mailbox, the client side rules and server
side rule can not be moved with mailbox.
However, we are able to export the rules in Outlook to a RWZ file for
backup and then import and restore it. Back up current rules to a RWZ file

550 sometimes but not othersA user sometimes gets a "550 5.7.1 Unable to relay" message. But then 30
minutes later he may be able to send a message to the same address and it
will be delivered. At least this is what he reports.
Is that possible.
Yes. It is possible.
Sounds like there is an issue at the end he is sending too. Often in my
experience secondary SMTP servers at ISPs are misconfigured to reject email,
maybe the 550 is happening when the sending server switchs to a secondary
mail server.
