The external mail system @ topeka.org will not allow messages of that size
is my guess. You might want to check with their admin @ topeka.org to see
what their message size limit is set at.

Also keep in mind that MIME encoding increases the size of attachments by
about 1/3, so a 4mb attachment would end up being closer to 6mb when sent
externally.

Hide Outlook messages error
Hi, is it possible to hide the error window for a particular internet account. I've this problem: an internal POP3 mail server doesn't support shared access to a single mailbox. Reverse NDR Attack
I know I am not the only one suffering from this. My exchange 5.5 server is getting hammered by reverse NDR mail attacks. Mail has become unusable and my Internet Pipe is full of spam. Unfortunately this server has great access to the internet and is a speedy box. It can deliver spam at an exhaustive rate and has become popular for spammers to hit. I understand that there is no way to disable the NDR's in exchange. Is there a way to verify the validity of the senders address before we accept the mail? Messages showing up as enclosures?
Hi - When I send messages from my office email (Outlook 2000, Exchange 2000) to 2 specific people, my messages show up as an enclosure or an attachment to a message. 550 sometimes but not others
A user sometimes gets a "550 5.7.1 Unable to relay" message. But then 30 minutes later he may be able to send a message to the same address and it will be delivered. At least this is what he reports. Is that possible. Yes. It is possible. Sounds like there is an issue at the end he is sending too. Often in my experience secondary SMTP servers at ISPs are misconfigured to reject email, maybe the 550 is happening when the sending server switchs to a secondary mail server.
