Meeting updates

My users cannot update meetings created when they were on
the old email server. I have noticed that the old string
is still mapped to the meeting. e.g
x400;c=us;a= ;p=Org name;o=exchagne;s=Lastname;g=firstname;

The Org name is the Old org still is there a way to force
update to the new org?

Meeting
We have IS status meeting every week and it is scheduled in Outlook. It is only two of us and I was invited and accepted the meeting. There is a Word document that I prepare and print 2 copies for each of us. The idea is to keep the word document attached to every meeting with corresponding content. We also keep the hard copy. I don't want to change the document on my computer and then attach it to the meeting. I would like to attach it to the first meeting and then keep adding things to it on every future meeting. I have tested it, but once you change it is is the same for future and past...

Updating Office to Service Pack
Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Everytime I attempt to install this upgrade, it searches all my drives and then tells me I don't have the product installed (I just reinstalled it from the installation disk which worked fine). I've attempted this several times without getting pass the point where the screeen says I don't have the required program installed. It may sound silly, but go to the [program]Menu> About [program] in any of the Office apps & see what version update you actually have - Later production runs of Office 2008 shipp...

Updating the View
I have a control in a dialog box which is supposed to update the image in the view. But I do not see the effects of the changes unless I minimize or maximize the view window. Can anybody tell me how I can see the effects of my changes without having to minimize or maximize the window? Moiz Moiz If your conrol does not invalidate the region of concern, then you will get no WM_PAINTS until some other mechanism invalidates the region. After you have altered the contents of the structure that the view represents, call CWnd::Invalidate(). If you want to redraw the window right now, as op...

Updating Distribution Lists
Just upgraded with a new computer from Outlook XP to Outlook 2003. All Contacts and info appeared to migrate very well. Only problem now is with Distribution Lists which also migrated. But when I try "Update Now," it will not recognize the Contacts folder and wants to convert all recipients to non-Contact status. That means when I update a Contact with a new e-mail address it won't be updated in the Distribution List. I already tried. Any thoughts on how to get the list to recognize the Contacts? DL's never survive an import. You'll have to recreate them if you w...

Cell update delay
Hi, I have a spreadsheet with two cells that are linked to an external value. However I want one of these cells to only update every second. This is basically so I can see the difference between what the external value is now, and what it was a second ago. Any advice? Thanks Take a look at this: http://www.cpearson.com/Excel/OnTime.aspx If you do it once per second, it will (probably) take over control of your system. Good luck!! -- Ryan--- If this information was helpful, please indicate this by clicking ''Yes''. "Bob_hc" wrote: ...

Outlook Meeting
I have created a Meeting and sent the invitations. I have received the reponses (some accepted, some declined, and some tentative), but they don't all update on the Meeting notice (that is the response of about 95% show "None" even though I have the responses in the Inbox). Meeting invitees one hour ahead of meeting originator even after p
I have patched the workstations, servers, and Exchange in are organization. I ran the Exchange Calendar Update Tool to avoid having our end users have to fool with TZMOVE. When someone creates a recurring appointment in Outlook with invitees, the meeting organizer's calendar is fine through March, but the invitees are showing the meeting an hour later during those 3 new weeks in March. I can't figure out what I did wrong. I thought I followed the steps to the letter. Running Exchange 2003 on Windows 2000. Running Outlook 2000 and 2003 on a mix of Windows 2000 and XP workst...

Forwarding a meeting request
If I forward a meeting request I received to someone, the "From" box in the forwarded request shows the original sender's name instead of my name. If the meeting request is opened, it displays "my name, on behalf of Original Sender". The original sender does not have any delegates configured so I'm wondering if this is by design for meeting requests? I was not able to find any reference to this on Microsoft's site so if anyone has an article that can be referenced, that would be great. Thanks. Chuck ...

can you schedule meetings in Outlook 2007 using MS Access 2007?
I know you can send reports, etc. through MS outlook from MS Access, but is there a way to have it send meeting requests, or schedule appointments? Yes using Outlook Automation. Start by locating code that creates an Outlook MailItem (email). Get that code up and running. Then adapt the code to create a MeetingItem object instead. The same applies to other Outlook items such as AppointmentItems, PostItems and ContactItem. The full documentation on the MeetingItem object is here with some examples. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa210951%28office.11%29.aspx "cfk...

Meetings with Meeting rooms set as resource reveal meeting details to participants
I'm new at this company and the exchange admin who set this up is not longer here so please understand :) We are native E2K3 and have setup mailboxes associated as meeting rooms in the GAL so that users can schedule meeting rooms as resource. The problem occurs when a user is able to go in and see the meeting details of a meeting to which they did not setup. For example: I setup a meeting and assign a meeting room (I.e. MR-A3-003) as a resource. I also put user "John Doe" as an attendee. Upon sending I immediately get the auto accept pop-up indicating the resource has been ...

Online updating problems

The call message on that date read: Your last call encountered an error 12/18/2003 8:01AM Money encountered an error processing the downloaded file ('SMRTINET.INI'). What does this mean? Why can't I get more updates? Is this be related to my sudden inability to download transactions from TD Bank, President's Choice but yet can download from Bank of Montreal? Or is this another issue? Very large CListView
Hello! I have a SDI MFC application using a CListView. At the moment the list is stored in an CStringList in MyProgDoc and in MyProgView::OnUpdate() I do a CListCtrl::RemoveAll() and CListCtrl::InsertItem for every item in the CStringList in MyProgDoc. Since the list isn't very large, yet, this works but it seems to me like there has to be another better way of updating the view so that I don't have to repopulate the CListCtrl every time, but I can't figure out how!? Sum formula Update
Ive got numbers in cells A1, B1, C1. Cell D1 is a sum of A1, B1, C1. When I insert column before D1 and then put a number, cell E1 (previously D1) is the same sum as it was, i.e. (A1+B1+C1). Is there a way this formula to be updated automatically when I insert column before the cell with Sum formula, i.e. (A1+B1+C1+D1)? Strange, but this is an issue with old excel, not new one. Use the Remove Office tool which you can find in Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Additional Tools/Remove Office, and after that, reinstall Office.
