Free/Busy issues after migration

Good Day,

I have just migrated from Exchange 2000 to 2003. I followed Microsoft steps
for migration and have moved all mailboxes, public and system folders. The
problem I have run into is when I shit down the Exchange 2000 server or
dismount the public folder, free/busy does not work anymore. Here are some
tidbits:

-If i check connected users to public folders, I notice that most users are
still connected to the Exchange 2000 server
-I changed the free/busy folder to be only on 2003 and not be replicated to
the 2000
-It says local modified in Replication Status on Both servers (I have
replication to run every 4 hours)

I would love to kill this Exch 2000 server and would love to know what I am
missing. If you can help I owe you my first born.

Thnaks!

URGENT: Mail access issues
Hello: I am having a problem logging into my Outlook mail account on my laptop. I get the following error: "Your logon information was incorrect. Check your username and domain, then type your password again. If your account is new or if your administrator requested a password change you need to click Change Password then logon with your new password." Seems like a straight-forward message, but here is the problem. I can access my mail account when logging on to the client's desktop computer. Issue with ADP form bound to Stored Procedure
I have an application that I support that is a Microsoft Access Database Project. It uses Access as a front end to a SQL Server database (SQL Server 2000). The current version of Access used in production is Access 2000 (Office 2000). My application site will be receiving new workstations next week that run Access 2002 (Office 2002/XP). When testing with the new version of Access we discovered an issue with one of the Access forms being bound to a Stored Procedure as its data source. It uses the following code to do this Me.RecordSource = "dbo.proc_frm_Input Me.UniqueTable = "d...

Macro issues...
I would like to create a macro which can be used on several worksheets. I'm having to cut/paste info into these worksheets from another worksheet. I need this macro to highlight all cells and autosize them and then (here's the problem I can't figure out...) go to the first empty cell on column A. When I do a Cntr+End and then down arrow and Home, it will keep that row's number in the macro..In other words, it won't go to the first empty cell in all the worksheets. This probably makes no sense at all...but if you can understand what I'm trying to say-Please help...

Exporting to Excel Issue
When exporting from CRM 3.0 to Excel 2003, dates and numbers in CRM 3.0 are exporting as text in Excel 2003. Is there a way to correct this so that dates and numbers export correctly? Thanks, Kathy A simple way to do this: 1) Select the cells that have dates as text and you want to convert. 2) Go to menu Data - Text in columns... 3) On first step of the wizard select "Delimited" 4) On second step click next 5) On third step select format "Date" and click "Finish" -- Marco Amoedo Plain Concepts http://geeks.ms/blogs/marco/ "Kathy" escribió...

Excel Compatibility Issues
Hi! Our office is having an issue exchangint Excel files between the Mac and PC users. Site missing in System Folder
Hi, I have 7 sites in my Exchange 2000 organization. 4 of them was migrated from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000, the other 3 are new. In system folders - schedule+ free busy of the 3 new sites I can only see the local site. On the other 4 sites I see only them selfs and none of the new sites. I think this is related to the problem that I have that people can't see each other's calendar when they make an appointment. Can someone help me solve this problem? Extend Published free/busy time, consequences.
Hello there. I am thinking of extending the published Free/Busy time in Outlook to a year or two into the future. But how about the consequences in doing so, as seen from the Exchange perspective. Before Exch 2007 this information was stored in a public folder, now in Exch 2007 the check is made directly in the calendar using OWA, so I guess that there should be no problem in doing so? Anyone got any info or best practice I can lean up against. Best regards Jesper. Free-busy data is pretty small so I doubt think you'll have any trouble. But, seriously, who...

Couple of issues with contracts after upgrade
Hi! We have a couple of "why's" after upgrading to 4.0. In 3.0 we had a contract template using time allotment. When creating contracts based on it, the initial allotments field was recommended, not required. In 4.0 the field is required in both templates. Is there some new setting on the template to decide whether the field is required? Another thing is that in 3.0 the customers mailing and visiting address was possible to select and map to the contract, now it seems only "more addresses" are possible to automatically insert in the contract. Seems a bit weird ...

Offline defrag with Eseutil.exe - Yes or No
I have an exchange 2003 server with 10% (6gb of 56) disk space left. This place has no quotas for mailboxes but I will put them in place. So far I have cleaned out an additional 6 gb of space. The exchange database files don't shrink I understand unless you offline defrag them but I don't think this is recommended unless absolutely needed. I see how the available space is reported in the event log which verifies the space I have cleaned out. I'm leaning on not doing an offline defrag as there is no other app running on this server. Do you think its safe to let this server ha...

Business Portal Query Problems
I installed Business Portal for a client some time last fall. Since that time, the site has not been used, but I know when I installed it, it worked fine. As of today, I can't seem to get anything to load correctly. For example, I go to the vendor list, and it says "Query found no results." I know that there are vendors. We have the Human Resources Self Service Suite installed, and I can see the employees, but when I click to see pay informaiton, I receive the message "Query found no results." Can you give me an idea of where to start to troubleshoot this is...

Cannot remove Exch. 5.5 Server after migration
I am trying to remove my exchange 5.5 server from my organization after a successful migration to Exchange 2k3. You do not have the permissions required to complete the operation on the information store." I have all the public folders I need on...
