Delivery Restriction for DL

Using Ex55, I have not been able to restrict users from
sending to our all employee DL. It works for our 'site',
restricting users on the "Delivery Restrictions" tab, but
we replicate our entire address book to other sites. The
other sites can send to our all employee DL, which is not
a desirable feature.

Define "sites".

There's no need to replicate your "entire address book" because the
directory information (of which the recipients are a part) is
replicated between sites by the Directory Replication Connectors.

Delivery note
HI, Can i generate a delivery note for partially received items.?/from where? Hi Peter, In POP, you can do a Shipment receipt type in the Receivings Transaction Entry window - (MSDGP>>Transaction>>Purchasing>>Receivings Transactions. The POP Receiving Posting Journal can serve as your Delivery Note. Other variations are, you can create calculated fields to dynamically change the static name that will appear on the report depending on the document type. Hope this helps! Exchange 5.5 MTA delivery error
Here is the situation. NT 4 SP 6, Exchange 5.5 SP4 One of my Dept Heads sends out his daily report each evening. He ' does not ' use a DL. He takes the previous nights email from the "Sent Items" and just deletes a person here or adds a person, then sends it out again. I have watched as he did this and his procedures are legal and I have done this many times as I am sure you have too, for whatever reason. Slow Delivery
With WLM and Windows 7 Home Premium it seems to take longer to send/receive a message than it did with the old mail service on Windows XP. What are factors that influence the message delivery time? Both programs should send & receive equally. Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that eats up CPUs, slows down sending and receiving, and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for loss of messages. Your up-to-date A/V program will continue to protect you su...

Many remote delivery SMTP queues containing single failed message
This is Exchange 2000 running as part of Small Business Server. I am seeing many (perhaps 60 or so) Remote Delivery queues in retry status under my default SMTP server. Each one has a single message from the Exchange postmaster and subject of "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)". Restricted Stock #2
Many companies are moving away from granting stock options to granting restricted stock. It does not appear, however, that Money 2005 or Money 2006 have functionality for restricted stock. Restricted stock is similar to stock options in that it usually vests over a period of time, but instead of exercising the option, the stock is simply granted to the employee. If it was that simple, I could simply enter the stock as an option with a 0 strike price. The real issue is that the stock pays a dividend during the vesting period that is paid to the employee and is taxed at ordinary rates...

AD user still receives emails sent to DL which she has been removed from
Gurus, I have a user in my organization who is receiving emails sent to a certain public address(feedback@ourdomain.com). Last week she told me she doesn't want to receive emails to that address anymore. So, not knowing how she got the emails in the first place I had her forward me an example, I looked at the headers then found this was a distribution list in AD (Windows 2003). She was a member of this list. Well I removed her but she says she is still receiving emails sent to that address. I do not know how this could be. I looked at her account properties and this address isn't...

Mail Delivery Issues
I have two users, who get repeated delays, or undeliverable mail notices. All my other users are getting along fine. Running Exchange 2000, on a server 2000 system. 12 local users, with another 10 outside. We use a pop3 connector for our mail, actually using it for our mailing. I did not set the system up, and as far as I can tell, the server is only for our local mail. The delay notice is set for 24 hours now, after it got to be a real PIA for the boss to keep stressing out about this after 1 hour. All the mailbox names are consistent. The formatting is consistent. I have (SMTP) Name@ourdo...

Everything seems to be going well in as much as internal email is working fine and sending mail out externally is also going fine. Where should I look to begin to diagnose this issue? by the way the isp says that their ping to the permanent ip verifies that all is ok at their end. 'Local Delivery' Queue Stuck
I have a strange problem. I have a mixed 5.5/2k3 environment. On my 2k3 server, some email from the internet is being 'held' in the local delivery queue. As of now, I have all email going through a gateway server (5.5) then being forwarded to mailboxes on 2k3. It's a couple of mailboxes that are showing this problem and it's not a persistent thing. Other emails are getting through with no problem. When I go into the properties of the frozen email, it doesn't show me anything other than the basic information on the email (size, date, etc.). It keeps retrying t...
