Junk mail folderHi,
If my users run in cached mode is there any way to turn off the junk mail
folder? I have an excellent spam solution and Outlook is falsely identifying
valid mail as spam. I don't see how to turn it off in cached mode, are the
two "features" tied together?
Thanks,
Dan
Do you mean besides the Actions -> Junk E-mail -> Junk E-mail Options -> No
Automatic Filtering selection ?
You can also get to it via the Tools, Options, Junk E-mail button.

All undeliverable mail to one box / forward to new virtual server / awaiting directory lookup (exchange 2003)Hi,
I am trying to forward all underliverable mail to one box and I found the VB

I am running on a server with one IP address so I created a second virtual

The problem is that all mail sent to the second server is stored in a queue
'awaiting directory lookup' and I don't have a clue how to setup this thing

How should I configure the second virtual server so Exchange picks-up the

Send email alerts to outside mailboxWe are running Exchange 2003.
what do I need to do inorder for me to be able to send an alert to an
outside mail account similar to Hotmail.
The requirement is that : Whenever an in-house account gets a mail, there
needs to be an alert message with Only the Sender information sent to outside
mail like Hotmail. We do not want to forward the entire email to outside
account.
I am new to this and appreciate any help.

outlook 2003 e-mail account fails when 2000 replacedHave checked MS's Knowledge Base, but no hits.
After installing Outlook 2003 on XP Pro (as part of an

Outlook automatically deletes some mailsDear Friends,
My Outlook program moves some mails on arrival to the deleted items folder,
these mails are also greyed out.
While its ok for unwanted junk to get automatically deleted, surprisingly
outlook even deletes genuine mails from some addresses whose other emails go
to inbox perfectly.
How do I correct this problem?

Sam

Exchange/Outlook2003 mail disappearedRunning Exchange 5.5 with most users using Outlook2000...no problems
there. Today though, a remote user who uses Outlook2003 in cached
exchange mode suddenly lost all of their mail from their Inbox, Sent

Outlook 2007 always sending winmail.datI have a workstation with Office 2007. Outlook 2007 has also has the
Outlook CRM client installed. I have tried changing all the settings I
can find and it still sends out with winmail.dat files.
Have changed to plaintext sending - it shows plain at the top of the
window when I create a new mail.
Have also changed the properties for Contact e-mail addresses.
Tried sending with CRM tracking and without and it makes no difference,
with an attachment or without.
Anyone got any suggestions?

So which is it? SP2 or SP3? You can't have both installed.

Rule for the from field on outgoing mail ?Hello
I have some Exchange mailboxes which several users have added to their
exchange accounts and have permission to send on behalf of. Now Id like
their replies to mail in this inbox to wind up in the same inbox.
One way seem to use an event sink like: http://www.ivasoft.biz/unisent.shtml
Another would be creating rules.
Now, when I start looking at the rules I find that you can't create
rules using the from field on outgoing mail in Outlook 2003...
This must be some kind of mistake, is there a workaround or a standalone

Export your contacts to a comma separated file .csv.
Then import the file in to Mail.

First off... you need to realize that these newsgroups are staffed by
volunteers, who are not telepathic and who cannot see your computer.
Secondly, you have to realize that Microsoft sells a whole lot of different
