can't send to outside e-mail
Some users, apparently those who cannot receive e-mail, cannot send to certain e-mail addresses. I have had automatic e-mails going out every evening for the last four or five years. Our network administrator recently upgraded to windows 2003 server. Since that time e-mails form cetrain users will not be delivered to certain outside e-mail addresses. For these same users some e-mails will be delivered. Please help, I need the e-mail messages and my network administrator does not seem interested in the problem

Please contact Your system administrator. exchange gcwda.com #5.5.0 smtp;550-verification failed for ..." I have this problem with only certain users and from the knowledge base articles that I am reading I suspect that higher security is put on these users and they are not identified to the remote email server. Is this possible? I had a similar issue. For me the solution was to go to the user account, select the email tab, and then select their external email address and click primary. For example, when I created new accounts, they received an address like mike@myorganization.internal as well as an external email address where the real external email address was mike@telco.com The first flavor above utilized the internal domain which is OK for sending mail around inside, but when it is listed as the primary, the receiving SMTP server cannot resolve the name. So, by selecting mike@telco.com as the primary, everything worked again. Some remote smtp servers check the sender info and others don't.

Hi, I am trying to forward all underliverable mail to one box and I found the VB code how to catch the OnArrival event (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q315631). In this article all mail is forwarded to a second virtual server. I am running on a server with one IP address so I created a second virtual server on port 8025. Is there a way to delete an e-mail that a user sent to everyone in our company? The user used the recall option, but the e-mal has been opened/viewed by a number of people. I also recieved the e-mail so I know the exact contents of the e-mail so I can filter for the specific one, but I don't know of a way to search everyones mailbox and delete a specific message. User A is disabled in our org. An external user sent an e-mail to User A and for sure he may have received an NDR, but strangely a copy of User A's mail went to a User B in our organization. User B is our IT Director and he wants to know why did it receive this message as it was not addressed to him? Dear Friends, My Outlook program moves some mails on arrival to the deleted items folder, these mails are also greyed out. While its ok for unwanted junk to get automatically deleted, surprisingly outlook even deletes genuine mails from some addresses whose other emails go to inbox perfectly. Exchange/Outlook2003 mail disappeared
Running Exchange 5.5 with most users using Outlook2000...no problems there. Today though, a remote user who uses Outlook2003 in cached exchange mode suddenly lost all of their mail from their Inbox, Sent Items and Deleted Items folders. There are no messages in the "Recover Deleted Items" option. All mail is also gone off the server itself...his mailbox is now less then 10mb (usually he's around 400mb). I am adding another email account to my Outlook XP. Outlook can see bot the outgoing and incoming email servers, but refuses to send the email I get an error saying that something is wrong with my SSL or port, bu it is set on default. I have a workstation with Office 2007. Outlook 2007 has also has the Outlook CRM client installed. I have tried changing all the settings I can find and it still sends out with winmail.dat files. Have changed to plaintext sending - it shows plain at the top of the window when I create a new mail. Have also changed the properties for Contact e-mail addresses. I sent an email to a GAL using the GAL name. I received a reply from one of the members of the GAL but none of the other members received it. how do I change e-mail margins for printing?
We have a new copier/printer installed and now some of my e-mails don't print the whole page across. When printing the e-mail, the left margin is very close to the left side of the page and the right margin only prints about 3/4 of the way to the end of the right side -- about a 2-3" margin on the ride side. Company installing the new copier said it was not their printer driver, but my Outlook settings. hello we have been unable to receive mails sent to a distribution list.
