We are running Windows 2000 Server, Exchange 2000 and MS Outlook 2000. Management needs to monitor employee mailboxes. I gave management "Full Access" rights to certain employee mailboxes. How do I activate the recover deleted items
How do I activate this feature in Outlook 2000? I'm running Exchange 5.5. Any help is appreciated. Hello Peter, You must first make sure deleted item retention is set on the server. It said it ran sucessfully, but nothing was recovered. Thank you fo...

For the first time in a long time I ended up deleting items in my deleted items folder by accident. This is using Outlook 2003 on a home computer (not connecting to an Exchange server) and running Windows XP. Can I recover these items? Cant purge 2 messages from 'recover deleted items'
Using Outlook 2003 against Exchange2003. We have a problem with 2 messages that cannot be purged from the 'recover deleted items' window. All other messages can be purged without difficulty. When we try to purge thse messages we get the message: Out look was unable to delete some items from this folder. Make sure you have the required permissions and try again. The messages cant be restored either - so I suspect they are either: a) Corrupted or b) have weird permissions on them (needless to say we have full permissions on the mailbox).
