Word MVP...Word 2003 Can't Save File After Update To Windows 7
This a new entry for a previously reported problem.
The original problem is that I am unable to save Word 2003 files in normal
The message indicates that I do not have enough HDD or RAM space. Neither
case is true.
I can save files by running Word in XP compatibility mode but I then can't
open a file from outside Word by clicking on it. I get a message that says
'Unable to send command to the program.'
Everything works ok in Safe Mode.

This has been a nagging issue with me for years and I can't find the
settings anywhere to fix it. At my office I use Outlook to service 5 email
accounts. Almost every morning I come in and it is stuck on prompting me for

I need to have several word text files in among numerous Photoshop slides for

if you can not easily/ clearly represent the word information by copying and
pasting the text to a powerpoint slide i would suggest adding a hyperlink to
the external word doc. make sure you collate the word documents and

text towards the end will not wrap. This occures even if I
increase the row height.
Wrap text is checked in Format Cells.
How do i correct this?
I bet that this cell has a lot of characters in it. Sometimes if you add a few
alt-enters (line breaks within the cell), xl will act nicer.

I have a large list of names and telephone numbers which is used to
populate cells in a multisheet workbook. I have this list on a worksheet
called 'List' along with many other such lists all ranges are allocated
a name for easy insertion into the main sheets..

In order to edit callouts I have to click on the 'Format Callout' button in Format AutoShape,Text box. The problem is it is not allowing me to do this! It is not highlighted, although 'Convert to Frame' is. Could anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
The 'Format Callout' button only applies to Line Callout AutoShapes, so
unless you've selected one of them the button will be dimmed. It does not
apply to Rectangle, Rounded Rectangle, Oval or Cloud callout shapes.

I have both Excel 2003 and Excel 2007 installed on the same machine.
Until today, I could doubleclick on any .XLS file and it would
automatically open in the old Excel. Now, however, it opens in the
new Excel in compatibility mode.
Even if I go to change the file association in Windows shell, Excel
2007 still keeps taking over.
As far as I know, nothing has changed on my system.
Anybody know how I can get Windows to always use the old version for

Every time I highlight certain sentences in my document and save those
highlights, it saves and I can close the document...then open it again with
the saved info in place. Here's the rub, when I close it and come back to it
